NHpolitico, instead of puttting like 10 posts in a row, why dont u just modify them. no offense or anything but its kinda annoying, sry

Sorry, NH, have to agree there. It does get kind of annoying. Maybe you could read some posts, and then include your responses to them in one post. Smiley

I try to quote when I'm replying to a user's post. That way, the person I'm responding to can use the notify feature.  If I just use a straight reply, that doesn't work.  I don't like boards where you can't follow a discussion because all the replies are just posted one after another so the replies lose their context. With quotes you can create a threaded view somewhat.

I can't post all the time, so I play catch-up. I apologize if that annoys any of you.  Crap like the pyramid building annoyed me, but I didn't say anything about it.

Well, it depends, 4 candidates could still survive New Hampshire if all 4 are close to each other, then a 4th place finish isn't that bad. But whoever finishes 4th is done, even if it is Edwards or Clark, if they finish way behind the leading candidates.

I also agree Dean needs a big win to become the front-runner again, but a narrow win would at least keep him alive. A loss, even if he finishes 2nd, and he's basically done.

It was one of several nonsense posts on a slow news day, I guess. jravnsbo expressed my feelings on the subject, so I won't go into it.

He's talking to me...I'm sorry NH, I don't really mind a lot, and I see your point. It's fine by me, you came up with a good argument for your way, and I can't think of a good counter-argument right now... Sad

So, post the way you want. And no hard feelings I hope?

Good. I try to avoid making enemies. I think Edwards is showing that a positive message goes a long way... Smiley

I hope both general election candidates wage a war of ideas, not rhetoric.

Is that what drew you to him or just that he was seen as more electable because he's a Southerner?

True, But he is also vulnerable for wanting to raise taxes and for neglecting his duties as senator of South carolina. From what I've heard, his own home state is upset with him becuase of this fact.

North Carolina, that is.

Kerry has missed 90% of senate votes since he declared his candidacy.

The American Conservative Union wants all these politicians to pay back their salaries for the days they missed.

Isn't Kerry the guy that sold his house for his camapign?  Wouldn't be bragging about his ability to raise money.

He didn't sell it.

Kerry has lent his campaign $6.4 million based on a mortgage of his share of the Beacon Hill-set Heinz-Kerry home in Boston.

Howard Fineman suggested that the fancy artwork may be mortgaged, too, if necessary.

Kerry will have no trouble raising money now.  I just hope he makes it and keeps Edwards relegated to V.P.  That guy makes me nervous, especially re female voter.

Big news in the campgain of John Kerry today. Sources say that SC Sen. Ernest Hollings is planning on endorseing Kerry in NH on friday. This can give him a boost in SC. Reports have always said that Gephardt and Kerry have engaged in talks since Gephardts drop of the race. This can help him in Missouri. In fact Kerry now is focusing on some Feb. 3rd elections.
