I definitely did not graduate from third grade. I began one school year in a third grade homeroom as part of an open classroom format in Omaha. We moved to Des Moines in October and the elementary school had a conventional structure. Des Moines placed me in fourth grade. I finished that school year in fourth grade, so I never finished third grade.
