Lol

As anyone on this forum can attest to, I have had a religious conversion. I have also done extremely low-level woodworking stuff, although I haven't touched the stick in question in months because I never find the time. I voted #2 and #10.

Holding elected office is something my paternal grandfather and my father have done though, so I would like to carry on the family tradition some day, although town councils in a place of 7000 must be boring as hell.

As to woodworking, I designed a piece of furniture designed for a particular purpose, but did not do the actual carpentry.

I voted 7/10 with a couple of caveats. I did a first draft of a textbook rather than a novel, but it seems comparable so I checked it. I have been a mainline Protestant all my life, and though I wasn't practicing for over a decade and then resumed with a different mainline denomination, I didn't count that as a religious conversion. So I could be anywhere from 6/10 to 8/10 depending on how you want to interpret the caveats.

Just 3.

I had a dereligious conversion; an interaction that snapped me out of a life held view.

Completed a draft of my memoirs (seriously)

Bought fine art. Quite a bit of it. Though my taste is modernist. Not sold any of my own art yet.

I went swimming nude several times and had attempted to write things, but to be honest I haven't completed a novel draft (my main accomplishment was publishing an article in the culture pages of a local paper)

Just the fine art one, and even that requires a somewhat generous idea of what is considered "fine art."

#10 only, and I only count it because it was mandatory for us to do some woodwork back in years 7 and 8, as part of a "technology" class in school.

If I remember correctly I made some wooden clock in year 7 and a small wooden ferris wheel in year 8

As far as I know, the only person who's ever held elective office in my family is one of my grandfather's cousins who was a member of the Ontario Legislative Assembly.

I most certainly never will lol

4/10

Had a religious conversion, I became a sort of born again Catholic at 16 (I had always been a fairly agnostic Catholic-y Christian), later turned towards a much more liberal and agnostic Christian (UU/liberal quaker/Spong-influenced phase) and turned permanently towards atheism at 18
Taught in a classroom, I was a teaching assistant for a few semesters in college
Shifted or reconfigured your gender identity, quite a few times, but I've always been quite in the closet about this IRL
Done a woodworking project, my dad has done a lot of woodworking over the years and I've helped him a bunch of times

Have sort of done 8, I'm questioning whether or not I'm truly asexual or whether I just practice chastity/celibacy (I have no desire to be married, but haven't figured out the reason for it, yet). I guess sort of 2, as well, given I do wonder at times whether or not I'm truly religious, and I'm pretty lax/liberal with practicing anyways, I haven't converted to atheism, yet though and I don't know if I will, but becoming an agnostic, later in my life, can't be ruled out.

#2 and 8 are arguable for me, depending on how you set the bar, so I'll let you decide since you're familiar with the details. At most they're low-key instances. #3 and 6 are also true.

So there are as many people who've had religious conversions as those who've swam nude. (And yes, I've done both. Both were amazing experiences.)

Atlas never ceases to surprise me.

Most people here have taught in a classroom? There are a couple of times while I was at school where teachers have split up a topic and let a group of students or each student teach each section, which I guess counts, I'm not sure.

I've never held an elected office although if you stretch it, I was 'elected' to school council once.

I made a few things with wood at school although I don't remember what exactly, nothing big.
