Opinion of people who think Metallica is good

I was never the type to put posters of them up on my wall as they weren't in my top Pantheon, but a good band. Saw them twice in concert, the second time primarily because they happened to be co-headlining with Guns and Roses. Some of the hottest girls I've ever seen in my life were at those shows. It was hard not to stare even though I had hot girlfriends with me each time. The early 90s were a great time of my life romantically..

Anyway, FF, just not enormously so. One has to acknowledge that notwithstanding the number of good tracks on their self titled Black Album, there was an ungodly amount of filler there as well. And the less said about Saint Anger the better.

Metallica is far from being my favorite band, but compared to the absolute garbage that the rest of you people listen to I'd say that Minola has some of the best taste on this forum.

Was my favorite band back when I was a kid, once Load came out; I moved on.  Mostly now into symphonic power metal-type bands.
