If Miami-Dade County sunk into the sea before the 2016 election, Trump would have won FL by 4.24% in 2016 and 4.12% in 2020, a massive 0.12% D shift

But it would've simply been viewed as a lean R state anyway.

And that would still have been dramatically less than Biden's improvement over Clinton nationwide!

If that were the case, then Democrats wouldn't put nearly as much effort into contesting the state unless it was likely to be a landslide like in 2008. (Obama would have still won Florida without Miami that year)

There's no reason why Democrats don't establish full diplomatic relations with Cooba at this point, and finish what Obama started.

Maybe because it's a communist dictatorships that doesn't hold elections, prevents easy emigration, and is considered to be an oppressive state?

Even if Biden hadn't collapsed with Hispanics in Florida, Miami-Dade still would have swung towards Trump. Hillary's margins there were a once in a lifetime occurrence. I can't imagine a democrat every matching her numbers.

Countless countries are dictatorships that don't hold elections and are oppressive.. Is Cuba really that much worse than say Saudi Arabia? I don't think so.

Cubans can care less about PR Statehood .

We should be focused on DC Statehood, PR already is a Commonwealth and I seriously doubt we get 13 Judges, but 11 is probably gonna pass, there is a workload shortage among Attornies aside from Bankruptcy cases

Just like TX didn't swing D and HEGAR lost and they could care less about PR Statehood

It's ironic how the minorities are realizing their suppression under democrats and rural whites are switching - as shown by general Florida trends. I hope this is solely a Trump fad, not a representation of the whole party.
