#3, but I am conscious about the type and quality of meat that I eat—as everyone should. I don’t eat fast food, rarely eat red meat, buy organic/free-range chicken, and almost never eat processed meats. And I have the body, the health record, and the mental and physical vitality to prove that you are what you eat.

P.S. Horse meat is delicious.

I have occasionally gone vegetarian for Lent, but going vegan would simply be too much effort.

Vegetarian for about 8.5 years, did vegan cooking at home for myself for about a year and a half (but still ate dairy when dining or doing takeout) before deciding I needed cheese and eggs to help my spirits during the pandemic. Not sure how much I'll cut back on these when life goes back to normal.

I don't think anybody here will be surprised to learn that I am a soy boy.

I feel bad that we have to kill mammals to eat meat and I don't really like how we treat chickens either....so I try not to think about it very much.

Factory meat can't get here soon enough.  (though it's going to do horrible things to my state's economy...but that's fine, we'll get through it.  We've got other things going on.)

It’s not my fault the carcasses of chickens taste good.

I do spend a good part of the year in a household that is 20% vegetarian, and 40% vegan, so I end up eating vegan a decent portion of the time, for simplicity's sake.

Meat is great, but if I really wanted I probably could find a way to live without it, or at least reduce my consumption. Eggs and cheese though? You'll pry those out of my cold, dead hands.

Flexitarian. I try to avoid eating meat when cooking for just myself or eating out.

Same, albeit fish is limited largely to tuna and salmon, and essentially only if somebody else has made it.

I would like to be vegan, but I’m pretty weak willed and unable to make good veggie-only dishes

I agree with this. I've tried some of the new plant-based meat and I actually really like it. Lab-grown meat is something I haven't had, but I definitely look forward to that replacing killing animals for food. Technology seems to be moving quickly there.

As to the question, I could never go vegan. I could potentially go vegetarian (although it would be hardest to give up fish, chicken, and burgers in that order), but I'm not ever giving up dairy (particularly cheese).
