Surprised that Biden won white MD males considering that Trump apparently won MD whites in 2016.

They show Biden won white men in CO too, 49-48.

Never mind, that’s from WaPo which I thought used the same data as Fox but maybe not?

You should see what it would look like if everybody BUT white guys voted.

What states would Trump even win in that case? I feel like he would only carry Wyoming, West Virginia, Oklahoma, North Dakota and maybe Arkansas and Kentucky.

I believe I've seen that if it was POC only, Biden would've won every state. That includes both men and women though.

Probably. But this also would also include white women.

I'm surprised that Biden carried whites overall in NM.

I'm not sure I believe Trump lost California white males. He won them by 7 in 2016 while losing white women by 17. For 2020, the exit polls have Biden winning both by 4 points...so from a huge gender gap to no gender gap? Makes no sense.

Edit: I’m looking at CNN exit polls...maybe the FoxNews ones are more accurate.

So that confirms Biden won the white vote in at least 10 states (CA, CT, HI, MA, ME, MD, OR, RI, VT, WA) + DC.

Considering white women results you also add CO. MN, NH, NY are close calls. Exits have them for Biden (+4 in MN, +6 in NH and +2 in NY) but if they underrepresented wwc they might have gone for Trump. I think he probably won them in NH and lost in NY but MN is unclear.

Democrats have a MAJOR white male vote problem; I was made fun of here for saying that Biden or Sanders may be the last white male Democratic president, I probably still stand by that; Buttigieg, Newsom and other white male Democrats will have to prove to the Democratic base that they can appeal to them

Democrats don't need to win white male votes, they just need to keep it fairly competitive and shave some GOP maxing....

New Hampshire is one of the whitest states in the country, and whites only vote about 1% more Republican than the statewide average, so Biden definitely won the white vote there. Biden also certainly won the white vote in Minnesota-Obama won it in 2012 while winning Minnesota by about the same margin as Biden.

Well you could also say Republicans have a major minority problem. Trump did gain with minorities this election, but Biden also gained with whites, so it’s about even.

Biden winning the white male vote in 10 states is fairly impressive. Kerry and Gore only won it in like 3 states. Obama 2012 and clinton 2016 probably only won it at best 5 states

Both parties are racially fueled. That is the life of American politics. Both parties should be trying to compete for every vote......we will see.

Eh, no?

Biden won the primary in a landslide because of his moderation, electability, and connection to the black community.

The Democratic Party, like the country as a whole, doesn't care about "checking boxes". Harris whole campaign was based on the idea "first women president and first women of color" and she went no where.

Being a white man is not a barrier to elected office and only the far right think so

Based on the exit polls, Biden has won the White vote in CA.
