With less than a month to the MLB Trading Deadline, we've got another trade.

The Milwaukee Brewers acquire First Baseman Rowdy Tellez from the Toronto Blue Jays for Pitcher Trevor Richards (acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays in a May deal that gave also gave the Brewers Shortstop Willy Adames in exchange for Relievers J.P Freyerson and Drew Rasmussen) and Pitcher Bowden Francis.

Another "no-hitter", as the Tampa Bay Rays, throw a combined seven inning no hitter, defeating the Cleveland Indians 4-0.

Colin McHugh, Josh Fleming, Diego Castillo, Matt Wisler and Pete Fairbanks combine to shut the Indians down.

Ohtani would be the first pitcher to win the Home Run Derby if he wins. That would be awesome.

First Ballot Hall of Fame Max Scherzer just gave up a grand slam to a relief pitcher...

So, the big story of the past couple of days from the transactions front is the Chicago White Sox DFA'ing Outfielder Adam Eaton and his $7 million contract.

Marlins hit Acuna again.

I don't know why MLB isn't talking about suspending Don Mattingly for telling his pitchers to repeatedly throw at Acuna. It's rather clear this is deliberate, and it's rather clear this is on Mattingly's orders.

At this point, suspend Mattingly for the rest of the season at a minimum, without pay, and fine the Marlins organization the equivalent of Mattingly's salary for the rest of this season.

TBF, I was watching the game when it happened and it looked like the pitch just got away from the pitcher rather than being a deliberate hit.

Once is an accident. Seven times since 2018 is deliberate.

Dodgers, As, Giants or Padres are gonna win the World Series, wait til Seagar comes back.

Just like Rams can beat the Bucks and Chiefs to win Superbowl, if the tickets are cheap 100 the Superbowl is in LA and Rams beat Chiefs 30(24

Oh, I have no doubt that several of the hits were deliberate.  I just don't think that one was.

Dodgers are the best and Seagar will be back

No one is beating the Dodgers except our own Cali teams As, Giants or Padres

Ronald Acuña Jr. tore his right ACL in yesterday's game and will be out for the rest of the season. Sad  Just when the Braves finally seemed to be getting things together.

At least this means the Marlins won't be trying to hit him any more this year.

Braves have the 3rd leading jersey sales after Dodgers and Cubs and they aren't the same team that was dominant, Freddy Freeman isn't Chipper Jones

I am glad they choked in the playoffs against Dodgers they should of won they were fav, I even thought the Dodgers were done for

Mets 1B Pete Alonso repeats as the Home Run Derby champ, as he hit 23 in the final round and 74 in total.

Manfred has been making some noises over the last few days that the seven inning doubleheaders and the Manfredball extras might not be returning next year. That being said he also sounded very flaky and said a lot of stuff like “oh it’s not a priority but MLBPA might push for it” etc. Might be less of a sincere commitment and more an attempt to use it as a lightning rod to direct fan dissatisfaction to the MLBPA instead of him. Still, somewhat promising.
