Um... has Reaganfan actually done this, or are you just making this up?

He can't.  The filing deadline for President and VP is still 20 days.

But if Reaganfan drops out as you say, PBrunsel is no longer a VP candidate.  He can't run for VP independently.

It's definately true now, ReaganFan made a post just a few minutes ago. It really is sad, they were who I would most likely vote for. Is there any way I can still vote for PBrunsel as VP? Can I vote for a president from one party and VP from another? I hope so because I was most appreciative when he came to my home in Richmond to make a wonderful speech.

I had a discussion going on in another thread about the constitutionality of cross-ticket voting, and I guess there are some issues with it.  PBrunsel cannot officially be a VP candidate without a running mate.

You could still write in PBrunsel for VP, but according to some, here is how that would work:

I don't think cross-ticket voting is any different than any other write-in vote.  You have to vote for a ticket, but that ticket can any combination you want.  However it is extremely likley that these write-in tickets will be eliminated from contention very early in the counting process, so you are probably wasting your vote by doing so.

So if you vote "1.) Nym/PBrunsel", this is a valid vote, but it will be eliminated early unless there are a number of other such first place votes.  It will never be counted as a vote for "Nym/Al".

You could cover you bases by voting :
1.) Nym/PBrunsel
2.) Nym/Al

In which case your write-in vote would quickly be transferred to the Nym/Al ticket.

It is too late for StevenNick to officially change running mates on the ballot.
