That probably applies to a good chunk of supporters of the Nazis in Weimer Germany too. They were openly rooting for the Capitol insurrectionists to drag people out and engage in public executions. It's not just silly kookery like believing the moon landing was fake or whatever.

Obviously the ones who actually went to or supported the insurrection are a different story, but a lot of them are just the same kind of nuts who have frequently got caught up in moral panics and conspiracy theories.
