Democrats Are On The Brink Of A Historic State Legislative Election Performance
The last time a party in the White House retained all of its state legislative majorities in a midterm year was 1934. Democrats may do that and more.

What they did in PA House was nothing short of extraordinary... what a difference a new map can make.  They haven't had a majority in the PA House since 2010.

I do kind of find it hilarious that republicans whole philosophy of “returning power to the states” has only resulted in them getting hammered on both state and federal elections

Yet another reason why this year's elections are better than the 2018 wave to me. Sure, we took more House seats then but were still huge underdogs in state legislatures. Now though, Democrats seem to finally understand how important down-ballot races are.

Granted, without gubernatorial wins in some of these states in 2018 we wouldn't have the wins we are notching now. So patience really pays off.

Hopefully Democrats can take back Virginia's House of Delegates next year and keep the streak going.
