It seems the Republican Party is currently in absolute disarray, unable to agree on who their leaders should be or what direction their party should take in the future.

There is no sign this will stop any time soon, and very well could just get worse, especially if there is a long and brutal primary between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis as currently seems likely.

The scenario of Trump and DeSantis dividing the GOP so badly that Biden walks to re-election, Woodrow Wilson style, looks more likely by the day...

Biden is walking to re-election regardless.

It would take a failure in a real crisis to change that.

And there is no crisis, hasn't been a crisis for years, and no crisis is projected for years to come.

It won't necessarily lead to a 1912 situation, but it's undeniable that this is a very bad situation for the Republicans. They're hopelessly divided, and Biden's presidency looks to be in a much better spot than it did this time last year. If the election were held today, Biden wins.
