His strawman names/signatures aren't funny or even representative of the forum outside of a couple of people, not to mention he refuses to admit when he's wrong (see ND-Sen 2018 for his worst example). I liked him at first but he quickly became tiring.

He seems to have a very good grasp of Montana politics (e.g. his post on key county indicators for Election Night returns was so spot on that I got a very good sense of which candidates were expected to win the major statewide races as soon as the first few counties started reporting results), even if he may seem to have a pro-R bias. I’m not sure if I can say the same for his analysis of politics elsewhere in the country, though.

Good analysis, but that doesn’t make him an FF.
He actually happens to be a top-ballot FF this time around if I recall correctly, although I am guessing is still is a downballot HP.

A smart and thoughtful analyst and keen observer of trends but often lacking in more local-specific insights and considerations, outside of Montana. Definitely a very skilled writer, particularly in terms of clarity and succinctness.

Owning up to being wrong and learning from/adjusting approaches based on past errors are certainly areas where there are problematic patterns.

Could probably afford to dial the memes down to a 6, maybe?

FF. He's one of the most humorous posters on this forum, which is something I certainly appreciate. I also think he contributes substantive analysis, particularly on his home state of Montana. As I've said before, I don't understand the disdain some have for him.
