It's a little small in population, so it would be better if the Marianas (Guam + NMI) became a State. That said, the only strong view I have is that the Marianas should not have two States.

Military vacation spots should be abolished.

Guam is a boring ass place with little to do. And it's a lot better for force projection to have US soil 1800 miles from China than 5000 miles away in Honolulu. Guam is arguably the only useful inhabited US territory.
