There were rumors that the California Democratic Party encouraged Justin Bieber and Taylor swift manager Scooter Braun to run for governor in 2018. Assume that he did this and made it to the runoff, where he had to go up against a moderate Republican who was ambivalent about President Trump. During the runoff, Swift decided to endorse the Republican over Braun (she and Braun have a hostile relationship). What would be the outcome? I would say that Braun would win with about 52-56% of the vote.

Why do you assume Taylor Swift would have special pull over California voters, or that she (an outspoken Democrat) would endorse a Republican over personal differences with her manager?

I am not assuming anything. I am asking you to make an assumption for the sake of predicting a hypothetical scenario.
