Lol these trump era books got old, you've read one you've read them all. Remember when Fire and fury was supposed to go down in history as a defining work of journalism but today just blends into the general trump era.
Pretty much all topical political books that get churned out by journalists to cover a sitting president are mediocre stuff that really should have just been a longform magazine article.
There's a reason that if you go to Half Price Books, the politics/government section is full of hardcover books about George W. Bush and Barack Obama that aged terribly and sell for like $2.
Yeah, everyone wants to be the next Hunter S. Thompson and write their version of "Fear and Loathing" but none of them get why people like the book. Nobody cares about the quality of Thompson's political takes(which were incredibly sh**t) but rather like him and his writing style.
