You have to watch this on C-SPAN. It's completely devolving into chaos and it's Tremendous Content.

There is a youtube feed as well.

I think Oliver will win-not running anyone will kill the Libertarians, and he only needs 3 or 4 votes.

Edit: Some dude lost his tread on me flag.

Yeah - since I don’t think it’s been spelled out on here; Rectenwald is eliminated on the 6th and the 7th ballot will be between Oliver (five votes short of majority on the 6th) and NOTA.

If NOTA wins, the libertarians will have no nominee.

Who interrupts a convention when the party is in the process of imploding looking for a lost flag?

It would be so Libertarian to nominate NOTA and lose ballot access almost everywhere.

Do most states decide ballot access by the votes a party earns? I heard the opposite.

Why does NOTA lose them ballot access anyway, because it's not an actual person? This year it seems like it would genuinely be their best choice for a nominee.

She's a part of the white nationalist Mises Caucus wing so don't feel too bad.

A lot of states have it so that a party with existing access that hits a certain threshold keeps it rather than having to regain access through petitions etc. Way easier to keep access that way than regain it the hard way.

Admittedly, that was just one guy, maybe the other if he agreed. I doubt Chase Oliver is like that, as an example.

I still don't follow. Does nominating nobody lose the ballot access they gained from 2020? Or are people afraid it will lose them ballot access in 2028? Because if it's the latter, I don't know why anybody is worrying - there's no doubt in my mind "none of the above" would poll better than any of the nobodies they could actually put on the ballot.

No, if NOTA wins the balloting, they have no one period. Not even unpledged electors I think.

Their problem is that if they choose NOTA they don't appear on the ballot at all.

2028 and if they nominate NOTA they just don't run a candidate so they'll lose a lot of their automatic access.

It was about how the races are different, how stereotypes are earned, memes, and a certain stereotype about blacks and asians.

I couldn't make it all out but it had something to do with the genetic differences between Blacks, Jews, and others and how racial stereotypes have a basis in fact.
