As promising and as interesting as RAM is, I feel like it's going to go the same way as Unity08 and all of these other marginally-hyped efforts involving big mainstream political names. People's Party had a great roster but last I checked they fell into in-fighting and Tweeting angrily against AOC. I think Perot's Reform Party had the lightning in a bottle of being held together by someone with singular vision and drive; a lot of these movements do not have that sort of anchoring force, and falls apart whether it has "legitimate" politicians involved or not.

The RAM feels like an interest group, not a political party.

Yes, further review does show that it is indeed a pressure group to the Republican Party.

ASP and Prohibition achieved 2024 presidential ballot access just before new signature change. The Green Party is also trying to make it on the ballot before the deadline change, but have not submitted the results. Excluding those where they have yet to turn in results, the Green Party is on the ballot in 16 states and trying to get on for 6 more. The Constitution party is on 13 while way behind in signatures in the 6 states they are trying to get on. Libertarians have everyone beat with 32 states where they are on and signature and registration drives in four other states.

The candidate for Cincinnati Councilor has also experienced similar problems.

In other Green Party news, together with other community activists, the Pittsburgh branch has joined the Police Accountability and community advocacy group Stop the Station. Other actions taken have been joining the Lummi nation to return an https://www.gp.org/return_this_captive_orca_to_her_native_waters to her native habitat in her old age.

Brock Pierce and F&E have cosponsored this years United We Stand festival, talking about ballot access and the media blackout of third party and independent candidates. The full event can be streamed on their youtube channel. Important guests and speakers include Richard Winger, Marianne Williamson, and Cindy Sheehan.

The Green and Prohibition Party has made it in the Arkansas ballot as the Libertarian party awaits the decision on their signatures.

Animal Welfare Party formed. Unlike many other movements of its type, it isn’t strictly vegan.

Justice Party leader Rocky Anderson considering reforming and reactivating the party.

With a lot of room taken up by Bernie Sanders, the DSA, and WFP in the Democratic Party I expect it is going to be tougher to get talent. Not to mention the fact that the reformist left lane is clogged with greenery and Twitter users. In just third party spaces, coming late in the game as a third movement in this lane may be too much a task for such an old brand of politics.

The Annual Green Party meet is here, and it seems that rectification is the major theme. Several gender and race related workshops critical of past Green Party stances and actions. Interesting also is a “direct action” seminar against fascists, placing the Green Party as squarely an activist-centered Red-Green party. Coming at a time when pressure to reform from partisans within and outside of the party is at an all time high.

Continued preparation and growth for 2022

Both from BAN:

The Democrats' 2020 Senate nominee in West Virginia, Paula Jean Swearengin, is now the State Director of the People's Party in the state.

Arkansas Secretary of State certifies Libertarian Party petition.

Also, the national Libertarian Party's new Chair is Whitney Bilyeu following Joe Bishop-Henchman's resignation. She was immediately preceding the Chair of the Texas Libertarian Party.

He really should just join the People's Party but as always possible ideological compatibility is often trumped by personal ambitions.

BAN:

Quote
On July 29, former Colorado Governor Richard Lamm died, at the age of 85. He had served two terms as Governor of Colorado, and in 1996 sought the Reform Party presidential nomination. He was one of only two candidates who qualified for the Reform Party’s presidential primary, which was conducted by postal ballot. The other candidate was Ross Perot, who had started the Reform Party in 1995 but who had originally said he didn’t want the party’s nomination. But after Lamm declared for the party’s nomination, Perot also declared for it. The results of the party’s presidential primary were: Perot 32,145; Lamm 17,121. Lamm only won in Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, and the District of Columbia. Thanks to Independent Political Report for this news.

Well the People’s Party now has the chance to run Nina Turner. My vote would probably be pretty competitive in a three way race with La Riva and Hawkins.

Possible independent Pennsylvania candidate may cause some motion

PSL nearly doubled their voter registration in Florida since 2017. They were at 606 last time I checked. The growth is mainly coming from their joint protests with the FRSO against the DeSantis Dictatorship

Other M4M4A participants include P&F, PSL, the Green Party, several DSA chapters, and the New Black Panther Party.

Here’s a further scoop

Colorado is perhaps the closest thing to a swing state that they’ve got registered for

I'd argue it's Maine now. Not only are they trending opposite directions, but Republicans have already started performing better in Maine than in Colorado. If a serious People's Party/Green Party candidate runs in 2024 they could make it close there, but I don't expect it to flip until 2028.
With the ranked choice voting, I’d extend that to 2032.

Still, the ability for the People’s Party to actually take significant votes from the Democratic Party and not from the more likely Green base and disinterested nonvoters has yet to be actually seen. Exactly what is the voter type for this party to even have? What niche does it even have that other parties don’t fill?

I have a feeling that the People’s Party and Green Party will merge, or that the Green Party will become obsolete. Their platforms are almost identical. Maybe it would be a good idea to start over with a fresh label because of the reputation the Green Party has (anti-vaxxers etc). People just want a reputable progressive party.
That ship sailed a long time ago.

The People’s Party has criticized the Green Party far too much and the antivaxxers and loons have been purged since Hawkins won the primary last year. Meanwhile strains of the conspiracy vote left for the People’s Party in the first place (Jesse V) and their syncophants (Jimmy Dore). Furthermore, the TERFs in Georgia are also getting purged.

Look in the post just above the one I posted today, they won’t join the Green Party because they are too “socialistic” for their tastes.

have u seen ventura views on stuff like vaccines lately? wouldnt suprise if me he straight up ended joing the democrats one day.

Currently some literally who’s are trying to get their Senpai to notice them in 2024. Tbh I don’t really care all that much for Ventura.

SAM is frenzily recruiting in places like Massachusetts and Texas oddly enough. That Phillip-Morris exec is determined.

I’ve pointed out before that there are real differences in demographic makeup and splits that prevent there from being consolidation of various socialist parties under one banner, not to mention the geographical size of the US preventing relationship building. Really there is only a couple parties that have National “presence” but their most developed branches are neatly packed into a single region, like the FRSO being basically a midwestern party or the PSL being mostly active in San Francisco until like 2015.

Alliance shouldn’t be included as they’re entire growth is not in recruitment, but in consolidation of other parties that include many prior reform party chapters. Reform is basically just trudging on from their few stagnant chapters and SAM are a bunch of butthurt #NeverTrumpers and egomaniacs taking Tobacco money.

Also the reason why the Left doesn’t consolidate is because of federal law enforcement infiltrating and sowing discord and division among activists, comparatively these pro-capitalist outfits aren’t really attacked all that much by institutions.

PSL condemns “attempted electoral coup”

Given this race is a safe win for the Democratic Party, it’s incredibly unnecessary to do this.

The IGP are failing with #selloutjesse after Ventura took the Covid vaccine lol

So they have no candidate for 2024 and no platform other than hating Hawkins.

The level of militancy coming out of this party is higher than expected. So much so that it scares mainly the right people

So the ASP have been all passive aggressive and fake in totally-not-but-kind-of-yes supporting SB8. Pretty much expected from closeted tradcaths.

The pedophile and lover of brown men, Brock Pierce, is apparently not content with just Puerto Rican men

So I got an email that was sent to Libertarian Party of Indiana members of a lady that left the Green Party and joined ours. What's noticeable is she left and joined us on August 7th, but on June 26th at the Greens' State Party Congress had been made their Secretary of State nominee for 2022. (Write-in but the Secretary of State's race is how your party can get ballot access, so it's kind of required if you're the Greens to have someone for that race.) She was Chair of the Indiana Greens' Cannabis Caucus as well. So this all happened in the span of 5 weeks. Here's her reasons in the email for leaving the Indiana Green Party:

Quote
I will share, and I make no secret of the fact, that I am distressed and disappointed at what is happening inside the Indiana Green Party. I am choosing to change political parties at this time. This comes after much thought and lengthy consideration. Frankly, at a time when our country is in need of unity and healing, the new leadership of the Indiana Green Party has aligned to embrace a very toxic element which is taken over at the National level of the Green Party. This has led to an alarming turn of events. I can no longer support the Indiana Green Party and I have formally left.

She stated in her email of "then-Chair Teri Ulm" appointing her June 26th. So I did a Google search for Teri Ulm Indiana Green and found this letter.

https://www.dialoguenotexpulsion.org/sites/default/files/internal-democracy-threatened/gnc-debate-silenced/2021-07/Rpt--corruption_within_Indiana_Green_Party_0.pdf

Mass walkout of feminists leaving the party? It's been discussed some here in the past, but the U.S. and Canadian Green Parties undergoing some very rough times.

For reference, these were the TERFs and other Gender Essentialists caucus in the party.

I have mentioned previously that the Green Party will be in the woods trying to find itself for another cycle or two, but honestly it all seems for the best given so called “greens” are joining the environmentally lax Libertarian party then. These people leaving have no political scruples or basic idea on what their politics are. It would be harmful if this was the rank-in-file, and not the high level operatives who led the Green Party down a path of failure for decades until the left faction exerted pressure in 2016. A warning for the Libertarians is to not accept these people in keeping their high positions.

Anyway, a lot of these moves are due to the long and vicious purge of loons in the party. From the 2019 takeover of the Colorado state party to the purge of the inactive liberals and rightists in the party. I’ve documented a lot of the transition here, and the difficulties expounded by the pressure by outside and inner fifth columns, and I still see it necessary and a good thing for the complete overhaul of the party.

No idea what a TERF is other than like most acronyms they can be used to dehumanize individuals.

What does the party's position on transsexuals have to deal with environmentalism? Are you saying it's not possible to be a feminist and a Green Party member?

Teri Ulm's letter has links to audio and video recordings on YouTube. So if she made the sh**t up about bylaws and the party's democratic procedures being ignored, it should be relatively easy to demonstrate her words as false.

The utmost majority of feminists and a majority of women, especially those who vote third party, are not trans exclusionary and the position of being trans exclusionary is quite divorced from reality on the ground. More recently, these wreckers have served to divide and weaken the Green Party. Given they are leaving for a party against environmental regulation, they were never really “Green” in the first place.

No break of bylaws occurred, these people who had control of the Georgia Green Party were rightfully expelled and the National party finally took action against petty tyrants who took local parties and made it into their personal fiefdoms.

There are now two splits from the Democratic Party during the Biden candidacy, Yanggangers and the People Party.

The last major splits from the Democrats were both regional based, where one generation of West Virginian progressives formed the Mountain Party (now in GPUS) and in 2021 with the foundation of a new People’s Party chapter. The former party has seats in local government and the latter took what was left of WV progressives. The last “nationwide” split was Rocky B. Anderson’s Justice Party.

I actually think the Yang Gang can work on a 3rd party level because his pet issues fill a niche both major parties leave unfilled and for being a losing presidential candidate the primary cycle was pretty successful for him. I said elsewhere he has the money to be a Perot. However:

1.) He of course wouldn't be doing this in the event he won the New York Mayor Democratic primary, so that he's doing it now when nothing is going on until the 2022 midterms shows he still wants to be in politics. So...what then? Does he announce this now to wait to run for president in 3 years' time? Is he working on ballot access nationally? Is he just locally focused and running for Governor of New York?
2.) He needs more stuff than just UBI.
3.) Doesn't he seem like the perfect Alliance Party candidate or the type of guy they would choose to co-endorse?
