Let say, somehow, Barry Goldwater was still alive today or brought back by magic or an act of god. How do you think he would've voted in the 2020 election?

Considering he was already expressing his disgust with the social conservatism of the 90s GOP, which seems comparatively benign in comparison to the party’s current state, and endorsed a Democrat for House in Arizona, I think very likely Joe Biden.

If randomly arisen from the dead - probably Biden
If still alive at age 111 - definitely Biden

Jo Jorgensen.

Goldwater would not have voted for a Dem who allowed Sanders write parts of the platform. Come on. Perhaps if forced to chose between Biden and Trump. He would not have voted Trump for sure.

I think he'd dislike the contemporary libertarians due to their isolationist views on foreign policy. I definitely see Goldwater being a China hawk and possibly on Russia as well.

Biden in 2020, either Clinton, Johnson, or McMullin in 2016, maybe Romney in 2012, McCain in 2008 only because of him being from Arizona.

I think he votes libertarian or not at all. I don't see him voting for the Dems and of course there's no way he would have ever supported Trump. He thought the Republicans were getting too demagogic and authoritarian even in the Reagan/Gingrich era.

He'd be one of those losers who criticizes Trump frequently but does something stupid like write in his wife's name.

He'd vote for Biden in 2020 after having already voted for Hillary in 2016.
