Socially conservative muslim (which most of them are) who dislikes terrorists screwing their home country and dems softness towards the middle east. Many muslims in the US had relatives who were affected by groups like ISIS and want the US to take a tougher position against them.

By withdrawing all military support and advisers from their most deadly adversary, the Kurds.

Oh wait....

Wow, this is a really great take.  I never thought of that before. I've learned a lot today.

Noticed Trump won a few precincts in Beverly Hills and I believe it is a 25% Iranian so wonder if Trump won that group or did well there.  In Dearborn, Michigan which has large Arab community, Trump got 29% so definitely lost Arab vote.  My guess is probably higher income (on average Muslims tend to have higher incomes) and was worried Democrats would raise their taxes.

Most Iranians in Beverly Hills are Persian Jews.

On this note actually, maybe a Turkish immigrant in the US who loved that Trump dropped support for the kurds?

The kind of people that in Germany for example still support Erdogan, though admittedly that kind of immigrant does not make it to the US, especially not from Turkey or the Middle East in general

Nigerian immigrant whose family/community works in/depends on the oil industry.

Bangladeshi taxi driver in Queens NYC who secretly hates hipsters for "corrupting their children's minds".

Anglo convert who grew up in a broken home, in a post-industrial area.

Young Kuwaiti American dentist who admires 45's machismo and seeks to emulate his prowess with the fairer sex.

There's one Muslim woman, Asra Nomani, who was for Trump in 2016 and I remember her being super outspoken about it. I believe she's from West Virginia also was a columnist for WSJ and is currently leading the campaign to prevent lotteries in specialized schools in Fairfax County (TJ would be negatively impacted heavily, so I don't blame her). Other than that I think she's absolutely crazy to support someone who I have no doubt is Islamophobic.

An Iranian or Syrian American who, while understandably upset with Dems' Iran policy, has still gone off the deep end and become a single issue voter who supports Trump because they think Democrats are "owned" by the Iranian regime financially. I know an Iranian dissident who was tortured in a regime prison and now supports Trump.
