You will constantly hear from republican politicians especially from the fast growing sunbelt states talking about how companies should abandon blue states and come to business friendly red states but somehow abandoning the politics of their old states. You can’t really do that as those liberal employees usually make up a majority of the employees or are very influential in those spaces. So how exactly would those republican politicians entice companies to move there but somehow not affecting their states ideological makeup. It seems like this has backfired a bit in some states like VA, AZ, GA, TX as those states are far more progressive than they were a decade ago

Also the places that are growing in those states are often bigger urban cities.

Those republicans are prioritizing economic growth for their states over politics. Must be hard for democrats to understand.

I think anyone can look at America over the last decade and see which party generally puts partisan victory above all else and which doesn't.

1) You must not remember red state governors wishing for recovery from recession to slow down during Obama era because the recovery was going a bit too quickly for their taste. Disgusting partisan hacks if you ask me.

2) Republican Texans tell Californians or New Yorkers moving to TX to "leave blue politics out of our state" all the time.

Yes, it's the Democrats.  Your party is the one trying to pack the Supreme Court, nix the electoral college, nationalize elections, abolish the filibuster and gerrymander the Senate in the name of "winning"

Blue staters "bringing their politics" to red states is a bit of a myth. People who move to red states are moderate to conservative people who don't want to share space with other people or pay taxes.

This itself seems like a bit of a myth -- except in places where the in-migration is disproportionately black, in-migration has usually helped Republicans. (See, for example, polling showing that those who move to Texas and Florida are actually quite strongly Republican; O'Rourke beat Cruz among those born in Texas, for example, and this is basically certainly also true for Gillum/DeSantis).

The reason some of these states (for example this seems to be true in Texas and Arizona) are trending blue is because of backlash among locals to the newcomers.

The economy does better under Democrats, merely because the Republicans take absurd half measures which merely make the free market worse (like throwing subsidies at businesses to keep down competitors) and raise the deficit while Democrats raise the deficit but at least throw money at people.

I believe in the principle of one person, one vote, as well as a governmental structure that accurately reflects and models that same principle.  It's a shame you don't, but your party (and the guy whose banner you still have under your username for god knows what reason) are working hard to undermine it, so good for you I guess?
