In hindsight, there were a lot of missed opportunities and screw ups made by both sides that might've ultimately had an impact on the final results. However, with things so polarized, few people switch over even when one party does a terrible job. Also, what is considered playing one's cards right. Some argue that making COVID political may have helped Trump improve amongst those impacted by lockdowns.

Trump wins, House is a Tossup, GOP keeps Senate.

Biden wins Texas, House has 2018 babies hold on, DEMs gain Senate with at least NC flipping from OTL.

Trump was always the underdog since the 2017 tax cuts failed and the income inequality exacerbated under Covid. Conservatives don't take wearing masks seriously, they tried in Southern states to open the Economy but it failed.

Trump won on the back of Gary Johnson

Most of his supporters are well off like Televangelists and Christian Right

Well, had Trump not be an asshole and acted Presidential, he could have a landslide. Hell, he could have won a landslide had he stopped travel from China back in Feb. Or been more moderate with BLM.

Had he not been a dick at the first debate maybe he would have won.
