Let's imagine a timeline where Trump concedes say a week after the election. Or hell any time in November. The Electoral College count is carried out as normal.

What happens? The Republicans probably win at least one of the Georgia runoffs and hold the Senate and frankly even if they didn't Joe Manchin remains well to the right. Trump can run again in 2024 and begins his campaign immediately mobilizing Republicans through 2022. The Republicans still keep their social media presence and rake in fundraising from big business. Biden's presidency is stifled from the start and 2022 looks incredibly grim. Not really a terrible position for Trump and the Republicans.

And now the current timeline:

-Democrats control the Senate.
-Joe Manchin is radicalized by Trump's goons hunting him down.
-Trump is either facing being unable to run legally in 2024 or unable to campaign as he's effectively deplatformed.
-Trump is unable to even return to his non-political media life as he's now essentially been 'l"unpersoned".
-Conservative social media is in disarray and their largest network banned.
-Republicans take a massive fundraising blow with the business contribution boycott.
-The Democrats have a convenient bloody shirt to wabe in 2022 and a few now recognizable Senators to demonize and run against with Hawley and Cruz.

And what did they gain from it? Absolutely NOTHING. The Republicans are in worse shape in every way than had Trump just conceded gracefully within a week or even month of the election. His legacy, image and party are in ruins and it was all for naught.

Amazing and wonderful.

They got their tax cuts.

Which is the entire rationale of today's GOP.

They just need gawd and gunz to get the unwashed masses to go along with it.

They already had the tax cuts in November 2020. Maybe the "election will be rigged" rhetoric  helped them rile up their base prior to the election but they should have thought of the possibility it would be taken seriously if they lost.

You forgot to mention that Murkowski might change parties too. The Senate could be shifted farther left by this than it was just by Dems taking control over it.
