I admit to being a serial deleter of posts I have regretted, so this game doesn't work for me.

However I will drop this, which got nineteen recommends and various quotes, but I wouldn't have posted in hindsight because it stemmed from a likely misrepresentation of the video I was commenting:

It has to be. Mackler is deluding himself if he thinks that he has a chance. We all know what happened to Phil Bredesen in 2018. He'll be lucky to come as close as Karl Dean did against Bill Lee that same year (60-39%).

Or maybe Don Jr. is simply completely ignorant as to how political geography works.

Quick question since I'm just now getting back online - anyone know the story with the NYT needle saying Biden is favored in Georgia? Is that legit or is there some weird data oddity somewhere?

No, it's somewhat conceivable (though I don't expect it to happen).  There's still quite a few votes left in the Atlanta metro region that could (COULD) give Biden a tiny tiny lead -- plus most of the rurals have already reported.

My first one. That was the moment I signed away my life and free time to being a meme master on a stupid internet forum for autistic map geeks.

My most regretted posts fall into 2 categories: "poorly communicated" and "cringe". Will not be sharing with the class.

I don't even like to bring it up (and no one else has for awhile), I deserved all the heat I got for it.  It might be the only thing I regret ever putting online.

I regret posts where I'm curt to those who didn't deserve it. I don't regret when I'm curt to those who do.

My very first post: "top five choices for the next president" c. 2015

Quote
Of people actually running:

1. Hillary Clinton
2. Bernie Sanders
3. Jim Webb
4. Martin O'Malley
5. Jim Gilmore

Of all eligible citizens:

1. Hillary Clinton
2. Gary Locke
3. Boris Johnson (technically, he was born in New York)
4. Bill Gates
5. Colin Powell

Also probably this post from mine around the same time of which presidential candidates I "fear":

Quote
Walker, Paul, Santorum, Huckabee, Perry, and Cruz are the only one's I'd say I "fear." I'd also fear a Trump presidency, but it does more good to worry about asteroids, super-volcanoes, etc.

The absolutely unhinged anti-TPP screed during my bizarre Romeny-M5S moderate hero phase from 2013 to 2015, for which Oakvale rightfully chewed me out.

This was in his pre-Brexiteer days when he was just the quirky Mayor of London who was best known in the US for his "wiff-waff" speech, getting stuck on a zipline, and the time he was on Top Gear. I was also more of a subscriber to the "all political parties in Europe are basically centrists or leftists" belief, so I figured he'd be basically a moderate Democrat if he was elected in the US.

From Fantasyland:

The Manifest Destiny party's platform is straightforward.

The Manifest Destiny party seeks to annex Canada as the sixth region of the United States Election Atlas Forum.

The removal of the last shameful trappings of monarchy from our continent and bestowing the blessings of our republican form of government upon our brothers to our north is our sacred goal.

While we hope to achieve this union peacefully, we are aware that there may be those who will oppose it, to which end we recognize the need for a strong national defense and therefore we shall not leave the post of Defense Secretary unfilled as is currently the shameful case.

While not my first post here, it was my sixth, and not only did I get embroiled in the swamp that is Atlasia, but my first post there was to start a new party that was somewhat trollish.

Still, we should free Canada from its monarchist oppression!   Mock

At least I never took Atlasia as a way to hash out real-life politics.

You had a political phase where you were at the same time a moderate hero, a Romney supporter, and a M5S supporter? WHAT THE HECK?

The vast majority of my 31,900+ posts, particularly my first posts and probably any post I made while I was still a dumb kid (I joined this place when I was 14). Some posts were useless and contributed nothing, in others I was needlessly petty or mean with other people and others were in my early political phases (one of my first screennames here, in 2007, was 'Sarkozy07', so, yeah...).

That didn't happen until many years later. At that time Atlasia was five  regions of ten States each plus the Mideast Region had DC.

On that note, I remember someone describing Atlasia during the late Trump era as some sort of "payback" by left wing people frustrated with Trump's presidency; to the point where all elections except one since October 2018 have been won by leftists in oner way or another.

Which is ironic given the biggest period of right wing dominance in Fantasyland also happened mostly during the Trump presidency Tongue (June 2016-October 2018)
