So it sounds like this is to give everyone a break in the NPC elections with everything going on? Totally fine with me.

I support this given what I understand is going on from speaking to members of my own party.

I am not affected by "what's going on" in the least bit for obvious reasons, but after seeing that many US-based players, from all regions and from more than one party, have expressed a desire for this, I am not against it.

Right, after discussing it with several individuals (including the GM, prominent Frémonters like Senator Scott, and the folks across the aisle) we came to the agreement that this was the best option for everyone. Given how exhausted everyone was at the end of the last cycle, and how many of us are still  dealing with blowback from IRL events, I think taking a break until February is the wisest course both for individuals and the NPC mechanism. Glad everyone seems to be on board.

Now that the 72 hours is up, I can motion for a vote. Normally I like to let things percolate to see if anything comes up, but since people already consulted with Lumine, this is probably good. Unless anyone objects, I'll start a vote probably Friday morning.

Just like with Lincoln, I thank the region for their swift action on the issue.
