The fact she was in a district trending against Dems during a presidential year.

Our female candidates lost big time, Bollier, Gideon, Greenfield, it's no wonder she lost when Pelosi botched the Stimulus before the Election. But, after the insurrection, I am glad she did it to cost Trump votes

I didn’t track this race specifically, but a post-election analysis reveals that Finkenauer underperformed her 2018 vote share in every single county in the district. This would have been reflected on Election Night as the results were pouring in, and anyone who was aware enough to compare the 2020 returns to the 2018 results would have observed an underperformance across the board - which was obviously not a good sign for Finkenauer.

The fact that she received 8k less votes than Monica Vernon in 2018, even though Blum got 56k less votes than he got in 2016. It was so obvious that low turnout helped Democrats in the Midwest. Also, Ashley Hinson's fundraising was very impressive IIRC.
