It is fascinating how so many posters on here believed that white Appalachian voters would fall into this category. In any case, the correct answer is suburbanites-specifically, wealthy or middle class, college-educated, white-collar suburbanites in places like Orange County, California, Chester County, Pennsylvania, Fairfax County, Virginia, and Gwinnett County, Georgia.

This thread reminds me of this article I saw about Elliott County, KY, written in 2013:
