The final vote of the day is now over and Linda Thomas-Greenfield has now been confirmed as representative to the UN Security Council and General Assembly. For both votes, she received 78 ayes and 20-21 nays (Toomey didn't vote in the morning).

The nays for Thomas-Greenfield were as follows (20-21):
Shelby
Tuberville
Cotton
Rubio
Scott (FL)
Braun
Ernst
Grassley
Marshall
Hawley
Daines
Sasse
Cramer
Hoeven
Lankford
Toomey*
Scott (SC)
Blackburn
Hagerty
Cruz
Barrasso

Not Voting (1-2):
Toomey*
Paul**
Shaheen***

*Toomey did not vote when they were considering her nomination to the Security Council, but voted nay in the General Assembly vote.
**Paul did not vote in the morning, but voted aye in the afternoon.
***Shaheen voted aye in the morning vote, but did not vote in the afternoon.

EDIT: I originally had Paul as not voting in both situations, he did not vote in the morning and voted aye in the afternoon and it was the exact opposite for Shaheen.

Schumer just filed cloture for Cardona (he did the same for Granholm yesterday).

Is Hawley now the only one who opposed all Biden nominees? Even Cruz voted for Austin.

This has been the case since Lee voted in favor of Buttigieg the other week, yeah.

Hawley is the only Republican senator to oppose every Biden nominee so far.

Honestly, even as someone who hates Konservadem Kyrsten, the idea of her and Romney having a little rapport going is kind of sweet.

Also, only tangentially related but what happened to her right hand? It looks like she's wearing a wrist brace & 4 finger braces. Hope everything's okay.

Kyrsten Sinema is physically attractive (at least in my opinion) but I wish that her politics was more attractive. She shouldn't be a conservadem.

Looks like something for carpal tunnel. Although I've never seen one in white.

2 yes votes: blue
1 yes, 1 no/absent: yellow
2 no/absent: red

Confirmation: Linda Thomas-Greenfield, of Louisiana, to be Representative of the United States of America to the Sessions of the General Assembly of the United Nations

Confirmation: Thomas J. Vilsack, of Iowa, to be Secretary of Agriculture

Notes:
- Florida continues to vote far to the right of the nation. Scott and Rubio continue to vote against even the most inoffensive Biden nominees. Getting big 2024 vibes from these two.
- Hawley and Cruz continue their crusade against Biden nominees
- Shaheen wasn't in town for these votes, hence NH. Sorry, I haven't found a way to measure absent votes without defaulting to 'no'.
- Sanders is the first no among the dem caucus so far, to my knowledge
- Tom Cotton appears to be voting more like a typical republican than a 2024 candidate.

So Neera's budget committee vote is tomorrow. Assuming they don't pull her nomination before then, does Bernie still vote yes? I'm gonna say he will, but I'm much less sure of it than I was before last Friday.

With Vilsack and Thomas-Greenfield getting confirmed, we finally have some new members of the cabinet for the first time in a while! Tomorrow is shaping up to be another busy day with more hearings on both Haaland and Becerra as well as the committee votes for Tanden—it will be very interesting to see if she clears both committees tomorrow. Also, Granholm will get her cloture vote tomorrow with a full Senate vote probably coming on Thursday. With Schumer filing cloture for Cardona today, I would probably expect a cloture vote on Thursday with a final vote on Friday but we will see. It also seems as if Raimondo is going to be next after Granholm and Cardona.

EDIT: Tanden's committee votes have been postponed.

Voting against Haaland as a Democratic Senator from ARIZONA would be malpractice.

I'd say he's 99% likely to vote yes. Everything he's said has said pointed towards a yes.

She's also much more valued among parts of the base than, say, Tom Vilsack. I don't think Bernie wants another confrontation with more establishment-friendly activists in the party.

Looks like this will drag on for the whole month of March until everyone is confirmed, leaving April to pass some important 100-day legislation ...

Are they at least using the allotted time to do something else?  There’s no sense wasting time if we can help it, although the rules may not allow this.

Doesn't seem like it.
