Apparent plane crash in Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia (CNN)A Sriwijaya Air plane carrying 62 people on board is feared to have crashed shortly after taking off from Jakarta, according to Indonesia's Head Of National Transportation Safety Committee, Suryanto Cahyono.
Sriwijaya Air flight 182 from Jakarta to Pontianak, in Indonesian Borneo, lost contact at 2:40 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (2:40 a.m. ET) on Saturday.

Boeing has to be thankful right now that it was a classic 737 and not a 737 Max.  Even without the plane being at fault, a 737 Max crash right now would kill Boeing. Not that Boeing matters as much as the people and families affected by this tragedy.

The prudent thing for Boeing to do is to ground their entire fleet in Indonesia and never let another Indonesian pilot or airline operate them again.

Both Malaysia and Indonesia seems to have problems with their pilots.
