Usually, Florida is slightly more republican than the rest of the country. But in 2020, Florida was much more republican than the rest of the country. Even in 2016, Hillary Clinton performed very bad, comparing to other states where the population of latinos is big.
Many latin americans who live in Florida dislike the left in their own countries, but vote democratic because they see themselves as a minority (only the cubans are a very republican group). But maybe, after the political and economic crisis in Venezuela, some latin americans turned republican. Of course, the democrats are not pro-Chavez and Maduto, but voting is emotional and maybe the latin americans in Florida vote republican because they are angry.

Venezuelan refugees themselves have pushed Floridian politics to the right. The number of immigrants has increased dramatically since the oil glut started in 2014, and most of those have gone to Florida.

We have a Spanish-Venezuelan poster called Skye, he's talked about "MAGAzolanos" a lot as well.

Florida could be a new south state like Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and parts of Texas, but the latinos in Florida vote much more republican than the latinos in other states
