Especially on a day when they knew there was going to be unrest? My local Wal-Mart was more prepared to handle potential BLM related riots than the Capitol was for this. The first bipartisan hearings in the 117th Congress should be whoever is responsible for keeping the Capitol secure. I want answers. I also want answers from the Pentagon and the Secret Service.

I think it's a combination of (1) less security due to COVID (compared to large number of protestors) and (2) federal agencies doing very little to augment security beyond just the Capitol security force.
