I mean, there's nothing left for me to say on this topic, as you've done a great job exposing your own duplicity all by yourself, but it stands to reason that discussing other posters' reactions to a news event is relevant to discussion of that news event. Otherwise that basically means these threads are only for news with no debate allowed.

Can I just randomly say how absurdly happy and relieved I am that not a single one of the Jan. 6th terrorists got pardoned? I know trump didn't do it b/c he was advised that it would worsen his legal situation but my GOD it makes me happy to know that eventually the hammer is going to come down on the people who tried to violently overturn a free and fair election. I have NO sympathy for those who use violence and threats to achieve a political goal. I only hope it leads to a wider reckoning for the boogaloos/proud boys and other right wing terrorist groups that planned it.

Somehow this makes more sense. The Capitol complex has a lot of tunnels and hidden rooms. Speaking from experience, it is VERY easy to get lost. Boebert just got sworn in and has never worked as a staffer, so she'd be far less familiar with it than veteran members. When I first heard of the recon being a possibility, my first thought was actually Gosar, Brooks, or Biggs as opposed to a rookie.

Congresswoman Micki Sherrill claimed to have viewed it first hand. There are other members of Congress making the same claim. Andre Carson identified Lauren boebert by name as having done so.

Investigation obviously needs done, and Sherrill could have been wrong. Still, she does not strike me as an alarmist.
