The sheer cynicism of the objectors in Congress is astounding. There are some of them, like Lauren Boebert, who are truly stupid and really believe the election was somehow stolen, but the rest are shamelessly attempting to advance their own political careers at the cost of the rule of law.

They know that everything the President and his bunker buddies are spreading is pure bullsh**t and they are seeing the consequences of that massive campaign of election delegitimization play out live right in front of their eyes in the form of a mob of thousands of brainwashed lunatics storming the Congress of the United States. Nevertheless, they persevere in their subversion of democracy.

AND, all of this is happening because of a single person's psychological inability of admitting defeat. He doesn't care about his party. Much less the country. He doesn't even desire the power of the office of the President. He's only pathologically afraid of being called a loser.

It is beyond ridiculous and a disgrace. America is broken.
