I mean he's going to get reamed for not doing something he can't do and blamed for the outcome. So I almost would....if he wasn't such a terrible person. So no. And also that he knew what he signed up for when he agreed to be the running mate of a narcissistic sociopath.

I feel the exact opposite of sorry toward that man. He knew damn well what he was getting himself into when he sold his soul to Trump.

I feel about as sorry for that sad clerical-fascist priapism as I do for John Bolton, and I'm sick of them being revisionistically lionized by Resistance cranks for their empty gestures.

Not really. It's unfortunate that he's in this position but while he might not have foreseen this particular outcome he should've known something like this would happen.  He made his choice and I'm not going to feel especially sorry for him when this is what he signed up for.

Not at all. He is the Vice President of the United States, I expect him to do his job.

He is the greatest enabler of them all, second only to Moscow Mitch

I don't feel sorry for anyone who for over four years does Trump's bidding.

He could have avoided all his problems the past four years by turning down the VP spot. No one would have even known.

He got four more years in the White House than he otherwise would have. I'm sure it's been a constant headache, but he doesn't strike me as a man who could've been gotten there without being someone's insurance policy.

To quote Trump when talking about a soldier killed in the line of duty: "he knew what he signed up for."

I don't feel sorry for him, but I'll be praying for him. As Cordelia Flyte said, I've had harder cases than him.

Why should we feel sorry, he lead the Tea party revolt against the ACA in 2010, that's how he became Gov of IN

I do, just a little bit, and here’s why.

I think the reason he signed on to be Trump’s VP was that he thought Trump was a sure loser and that he himself was too unpopular to win another term as Indiana governor. I don’t think he wanted to be VP or thought there was a chance of that actually happening, but rather that he wanted a way to go out with a bang and gain as much name recognition as possible either to make a living selling books or get some other kind of politics-related job in the future.

Then the unthinkable happened and Trump actually won.

If he had stood up to Trump more often and did so when it mattered, then maybe. But as things currently stand, no, because he didn’t stand up to Trump nearly enough.

Do i feel sorry for one of the most evil and harmful Governors of my home state, a good representative of evangelical Christians using their faith as a weapon to inflict pain on others, a Vice President who supported one of the cruelest and most hateful Presidents in our history?

No lol. He deserves much worse.

I'm only sorry that he's probably not going to be locked up like the rest of the filth left in this current administration.
