Asking this to Republicans and Republican-leaners only. Been curious about this for awhile but for a variety of reasons kept forgetting to post the question.

Courts are a huge reason why I vote Republican, but this particular opening didn't really sway me. It pretty much cemented what I already knew, which was that I needed to vote R to get the kind of SCOTUS I want. I am probably too invested in the issue to be a good test case for this kind of thing, since I am pretty much always interested in where the judiciary is heading.

I didn't vote for Trump or for Biden, and the Scotus opening did not impact my vote for President.

I knew for months I would be writing someone in. Even discussed it on discord before RBG died.

Voted Jorgensen, Supreme Court didn’t change my vote.

I’m much more interested in the long-term direction of the Republican Party than I am in the Supreme Court. If there are no parties that represent my values than eventually there won’t be any chance that the Court does, anyway.

I did the same exact thing. Helps that I live in a non-competitive state

Never got my absentee ballot after multiple, separate efforts.  Got (even more) disillusioned and gave up.
