I'm ok with the --pilled metaphors, but want the word 'based' to be killed with fire.*

*Main objection is that it contains some quasi-existentialist baggage about being 'true to your authentic self'.**

**Being 'true to your authentic self' isn't objectionable per se but tends to go with the implication that there is no objective standard and we ought to conform to our fallen selves as is rather than shoot for our perfected self.
