I don't know if any of you have had a chance to see Soul yet, but I thought I'd give a few thoughts on it. (No spoilers intended.)

First, it's not a bad story, just stretched out too thin. It would've made a great 30 min short subject, but as a 100 min film it's underwhelming.

Second, good animation that catches the mood.

This is another streaming movie that I can't watch since it's part of a streaming service I don't have. So like with 'Wonder Woman 1984' I read the synopsis to spoil myself. It's probably great, as I keep hearing it is. Pete Docter is one of Pixar's best Directors who is great at making fun, emotional stories out of complicated concepts...but this one seems a bit too complicated in reading the synopsis. I don't know if I get it. In fairness, watching a movie is always different than reading about it. I still think I'll check it out one day somehow. It's been awhile since I've leeched off watching Disney Plus exclusives at my friend's house...

It's okay. More for middle-aged people than for kids. Not quite as deep or resonating as Inside Out or Coco, though it tries to be it lacks something. Good message though.

Tries to be another Inside Out but doesn't quite capture the magic, still worth a watch as a second rate Pixar film is still pretty damn good.
