At this moment, my home is in NY-04, and I have yet to leave it this year. However, NY-03 is just a few blocks away from me, and my workplace is in NY-01. There are also places in NY-02 and NY-06 where I shop rather frequently.

I understand that. The boundary between IL-06 and IL-14 is a couple of blocks from me and across that line is where I get gas, pick up pizza, and go to church. The two old shopping malls in my part of the suburbs are in IL-08 and IL-11 and they have businesses around them that I use even in the pandemic. I expect I'll have made it to all of them in the first couple of weeks this year.

I traveled to the state capital and took advantage of a nice day yesterday to take the long way back.

That's quite a detour!

My wife was missing Lewis and Clark counties in MO, so that became an excuse to drive along the Great River road.

Your wife is a county-counter too?

She decided to start in 2019 since she is with me on most of my trips. I helped her set up her mob-rule at that point. Her unique twist is that she also counts the counties where she has been to a quilt shop.

I drove to a mall about 40 miles from my house. The drive there and back took me through 9 CDs in three counties.

How districts you have visitied at least once last decade?

Good question. I track counties in a spreadsheet from year to year, so it's easy to find all the counties visited in any time interval. I haven't done that for CDs. Perhaps, since 2022 is the last year with this cycle of CDs, I'll put something together at the end of this year.

Old map (2021-23): NC-04, NC-07, NC-02, NC-09, SC-07
New map: NC-02, NC-04, NC-05, NC-03, ?

As you note, the new map is not effective until Jan 2023. To be consistent, CDs should be with those that the members are serving in that year.
