Here's another game (mods please move if there's a better place for it to go).

Name: McFee County
State: Ohio
Region: South-Central Ohio
Geographical Type: Small City (+rural/suburban surrounds)
Median Household Income: $44,000
Population: 76,299
Racial Demographics: 87% White, 11% Black, 1% Latino, 1% Mixed, 0.5% Asian, 0.5% Native.
Demographic Notes: Settled historically by southerners as part of "Butternut Ohio." Large numbers of Polish-Americans and West Virginians, as well as African-Americans, due to historic industry.
Economy: Historically steel industry; presently in heavy decline.
Other notable notes: A Berea College-esque university in the rural Eastern portion.

Then give the county's winner from 2000-2020!

Name: Hamilton County
State: Pennsylvania
Region: West Central Pennsylvania (roughly equidistant between Erie, Altoona, and Pittsburgh)
Geographical Type: Small City
Median Household Income: $56,000
Population: 192,817
Racial Demographics: 83% White, 8% Latino, 4% Black, 3% Asian, 2% Mixed/Other
Demographic Notes: Originally settled by Yankees from Upstate New York and New England. Heavy influx of ethnics (esp Italians, Irish, and Ashkenazi Jews) during industrialization as well as some Scandinavians and Scots. More recently, there has been immigration from Latin American and sub-Saharan Africa. In religious terms, the Catholic Church as well as Episcopalians, Methodists, and Presbyterians long held sway although secularization has resulted in severely reduced church attendance. There are half a dozen synagogues in the county.
Economy: Historically an agricultural and lumber mill region-the main city in the county (Elwood City) was founded as lumber processing center by a Jewish American tycoon. During the 20th Century, the area was notable for being manufacturing center focused on production of consumer goods such as toys, food items, and ballpoint pens. Thanks to the presence of both a state university branch and a Presbyterian liberal arts college as well as a regional medical center, the worst of population decline following deindustrialization was avoided and the population bottomed out in 1990, after peaking in 1960. Overall population is still slightly under the 210k peak achieved 60 years ago. There are still some factories in the area and overall the area has a moderately proud union tradition. Recent immigration has brought additional economic activity and has mostly been welcomed, but the opioid epidemic has had a nasty impact with Mexican drug cartels being blamed for many of the deaths and addictions.
Other notable notes:-Various figures are active in local politics, most notable of whom is a used car dealer who frequently donates to local power figures and has occasionally been called the local Donald Trump.
-Public and private schools in the area are considered top-notch with the result that many people priced out of NYC or Philly metro areas move here for a small city lifestyle.

This county is one in which a fictional series is located. No prizes for guessing what series.

I know what show this is from, but was this really an episode?

Anyway a Gore/Kerry/Obama/Trump county.

Gore/Kerry/Obama/Obama/Clinton/Biden, and never really close. Big swing to Trump 2020 though.

Name: Taria County
State: Fictional State; a sunbelt southern state in the vein of Georgia or Florida.
Region: US South
Geographical Type: Suburb of major metropolitan area
Population: 392,304
Racial Demographics: 56% white, 22% Black, 12% Asian, 7% Latino, 3% Other
Demographic Notes: About half of the Asian-American population is refugees or descendants of refugees, particularly Cambodians.
MHI: $79,934
Other Notes: Located on the shore. Strongly polarized between the affluent and mostly white coastal section and the poorer and Black/Asian inland section. Has a large military base. Has a massive number of retirees.

Nah, most of the information was extrapolations I made from Arthur and then applying stuff from demographically similar counties.

Gore/Kerry/Obama/Obama/Clinton/Biden, and never really close. Big swing to Trump 2020 though.

Sounds like a classic Bush '00-'04/McCain/Romney/Trump (barely)/Biden county. Biden barely won thanks to large swings in white costal areas outweighing the smaller Republican swings inland.

I think it'd be fun to note who won the primaries in recent years as well. In 2016 Clinton easily won it in the Democratic primaries and Trump edged out Rubio by a modest margin. In 2020, Biden won it though Sanders did relatively well for the South thanks to the large Latino population.

Name: Eyre County
State: Washington
Region: West Coast of Washington in the southerly region of the Olympic Peninsula
Geographical Type: Small City/Small Town
Median Household Income: $52,000
Population: 305,642
Racial Demographics: 46% Asian, 41% White, 11% Latino, 1% Native American, 0.5% Black, 2.5% Other/Mixed
Demographic Notes: Originally settled by a mix of Yankee New Englanders, Scandinavians, Germans, Irishmen, and Dutch Americans (mostly Frisian) the last of whom founded a large "New Frisia" community that became a conservative Dutch Reformed region. However, Eyre County quickly became notable more as a site of heavy Asian settlement beginning with Chinese fishermen who created several small villages facing the Pacific. In an otherwise extremely hostile 19th Century America, Eyre County was a relative haven for Asian Americans thanks to geographic isolation and lack of immediate economic competitors as well as the luckily tolerant attitudes of certain prominent local figures such as Reverend Horace Dexter Thayer who had been a Baptist missionary to Japan. Chinese settlement here was soon exceeded by a large inflow of Japanese immigrants who set up their own villages and farms including what became the county's largest city of Kamiyama. Koreans followed suit in the early 1900s By the eve of the Second World War, Japanese Americans made up close a third of the population most of whom ended up interned due to Order 9066. However, the resulting economic collapse in the area and especially the fall in agricultural production during a critical wartime period led to residents being allowed to move back, though it allowed white and non-Japanese Asians to reassert themselves economically. After World War II, there were further inflows by retirees, artistic types seeking a peaceful area, and other urbanites seeking a quieter lifestyle greatly increasing the population. Post 1965, there was also some further Asian immigration, especially by Koreans and Vietnamese. More recently there has been large inflow of Latinos as in many other regions of the United States especially as agricultural workers for the area's farms. Lutherans, Dutch Reformed, Roman Catholics, Baptists, and Pentecostals constitute the largest Christian denominations in the area, with Protestants outnumbering Catholics close to three to one. Shintoism and Buddhism are prominent thanks to the large Japanese population and there are actually a few Shinto shrines which are very rare outside of Japanese territory (or colonies). Religious practice is unusually high for the Pacific Northwest, although a large proportion of the population is secular.
Economy: The region began life as a fishing area, taking advantage of the rich banks of salmon, cod, clam, and other species in the Pacific Ocean resulting in the dense network of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and white fishing villages. However, by the late 1800s the regional economy had turned to agriculture thanks in part to the inflow of Japanese farmers. While the Dutch and other white farmers in the area focused on dairy production, Japanese farmers introduced many Asian fruit varieties and Eyre County became as a center of apple and pear production. Meanwhile fishing became increasingly, industrialized and canning operations employed thousands of workers. While lumber was important, it never dominated the local economy quite as much as in neighbouring counties. Other industrial operations followed, especially food processing. During World War II, a small shipbuilding center was set up in the port town of Yarmouth as well as large naval and Army Air Corps bases. With increasing urbanization, the area's economy gradually transitioned to a postindustrial one (albeit slowly and never quite giving up its old industrial heritage). Several colleges and hospitals are located in the area. Moreover, major companies have set up regional offices in cities such as Kamiyama and Groningen. Perhaps the most unusual example might be Japanese animation studio KyoAni setting up US operations here.
Other notable notes:-The area is one of the very few counties in the Continental US with an Asian plurality resulting in some unusual features, such as the county public education system adopting aspects of the Japanese education system especially school uniforms at the middle and high school levels, an unusually strong school club system, and many classes in Japanese. Obviously, they otherwise closely follow the state curriculum to minimize conflict.
-The smaller cities in the area such as Kamiyama, Groningen, and Yarmouth are quite dense resulting in an unusually high quality mass transit system with an extensive bus network covering much of the county and the first two of these cities even retaining their early 20th Century electric trolley systems. Many people, especially students, often use bikes as their primary mode of transportation.
-There is a modest sized Indian reservation in the foothill regions, whose attempts to build a casino was a subject of major political controversy in the early 2000s.
-Eyre County is notable for its profusion of supernatural legends related to Sasquatch as well as more Asian supernatural creatures such as the kappa.

I think it's pretty firmly D these days. Gore-Kerry-Obama-Obama-Clinton-Biden. In competitive Dem primaries, probably voted something like Clinton-Clinton-Sanders.

Name: Bell County
State: Same fictional state as previous, a sunbelt southern state in the vein of Georgia or Florida
Region: US South
Geographical Type: Suburb of major metro area (same city as previous)
Population: 418,006
Racial Demographics: 45% Black, 42% White, 7% Latino, 5% Asian
Demographic Notes: The large majority of Asian-Americans are Cambodian. Was majority-white in the 2000 census but has seen a rapid increase in the Black population
MHI: $57,485
Other notes: Has a decent retiree community in its small beach area. The white population is heavily evangelical.

This county probably has been Republican since at least 1952 until the 2000's and then it would have voted Bush-Bush-Obama-Obama-Clinton-Biden with big leftward jumps in 2008 and in 2016 particularly. Probably voted for some Republicans downballot in 2010 and maybe 2014, but going forward it's Safe D.
It has voted Romney-Romney-Cruz in recent competitive Republican primaries, and Obama-Clinton-Biden in Democratic ones.

Next hypothetical county:
Name - Adelphi County
State - Fictional state called Narragansett
Region - New England-ish
Population - 225,000
Median Household Income - $51,000
Ethnoracial demographics - 87% (non-Hispanic) White; 7% Hispanic; 3% n-H Asian; 3% n-H Black
Ancestry notes - Most European Americans have Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish ancestry. A strong majority of Latinos are Dominican.
Geographic notes - 45% of the population lives in the county seat, the city of Adelphi; 35% in smallish towns nearby which function as suburbs; 20% in what are basically rural areas.
Other notes:
- Adelphi is a regionally important port. It has taken some hits but its industrial heritage is still quite present.
- The Dominican population is heavily concentrated in the city of Adelphi, but other minorities are pretty spread out.
- Catholics outnumber Protestants 3-to-1.
- The county lost population between 1970 and 2000 but has now been growing again. The balance of the county in all this time has closely tracked that of the city, while progressive losses in the more rural areas have been compensated by the growth of suburbs.
- Downtown Adelphi is exhibiting traits of gentrification.
- Renowned for the local cuisine, a mix of the diverse Latin heritages of the place.
- The second largest town, St. Stephen, functions as a regional centre for healthcare and entertainment despite being significantly smaller than Adelphi.
- Despite being on the sea (it's a port...) there are very few, if any, beaches.

The inspiration for this is, ahem, very obvious.

Obviously safe Dem at the national level since the 1980s, though it does vote Republican whenever they win a statewide election. In the primaries backed Hillary in 2008 but then Sanders in 2016 before reverting to Biden in 2020.

With apologies to Faulkner:

Name - Yoknapatawpha County
State - Mississippi
Region - Northern Mississippi
Population - 25,000
Median Household Income - $38,000
Ethnoracial demographics - 49% Black, 48% White, 3% Latino/Other
Demographic Notes - Originally a cotton belt black majority county up until the 1940s when the Great Migration resulted in a significant outflow of blacks. Population growth resumed in the Sixties due to some inflow of exurban whites from Jackson or Memphis metro areas.
Economic - Before 1865, the county's economy was dominated by several large plantations and cotton growing prevailed. After the devastation of the Civil War and the abolition of slavery, agriculture shifted somewhat to a commercial model with small farmers growing a mix of cotton as well as various foodstuffs. More recently, retail plays a role thanks to the opening of a Wal-Mart supercenter near the county seat of Jefferson and there are some warehouses.
Other notes - The old plantation elite families generally remain in the county and retain an unusually high degree of social influence compared to other parts of the South.
- Religious attendance rates, while high compared to the rest of the country, are somewhat lower than in much of the rural South. Evangelical influence is unusually weak here, with many in the white upper class being only nominal Mainline Protestants if not outright atheists and even much of the black and white working classes are unchurched.

I'm going to say very narrowly but stubbornly Democratic. Gore-Bush-Obama-Obama-Clinton-Biden.

Name: Missouri County
State: South Dakota
Region: Southeastern South Dakota
Population: 28,756
Median Household Income: $29,888
Racial Demographics: 58% white, 28% Native American, 9% Latino, 3% Black, 1% Asian
Ancestry Notes: Whites are disproportionately Scandinavian. The county is home to a large Lakota reservation. The county seat, Pacifica, is a major meatpacking center. Virtually all African-Americans in the county are Somali.

For the record, Adelphi was pretty much La Spezia But In Rhode Island.

Sol jinxed me but I was going to say exactly that Yoknapatawpha County was Titanium Lean D.

Ancestraly democratic voted roughly 55% democrat, was a Mcgovern county but switched during the 2004 election and narrowly backed Bush. Obama won it in 2008 with 60% but only narrowly held onto it in 2012 with 51% of the voted. Trump reversed the margins and won the county by 60% in 2016 but the county did trend back to Biden thanks to huge native American turnout with trump only narrowly carrying the country with 53% of the vote.

Name: Farmania
State: Hawaii
Population 200,000
Racial Demographics: 20% Pacific Islander, 40% Vietnamese, 20% White, 10% Japanese, 10% other.
Income: $45K strong racial gap
Island is isolated from the rest and lacked the same kind of plantations you saw in the rest of the islands until 1900's. United states resetllted a lot of Vietnam War refugees in the county thinking that it would be suited for their tropical agriculture(ignoring the fact that the vast majority of refugees were urbanites or skilled workers who were unfamiliar with the agriculture and that the rainfall pattern in no way resembled Vientam).

Name: Lake County
State: South Carolina
Region: Western South Carolina (near the Savannah River and the lakes along it), south of I-85 but north of I-20)
Geographical Type: Mid-sized City (+rural/suburban surrounds)
Median Household Income: $55,000
Population: 679,432
Racial Demographics: 51% White, 24% Black, 15% Latino, 8.5% Asian, 1% other, 0.5% Native.
Demographic Notes: White population that is not connected to the university is largely native Southerners and very religious. More racially progressive than most of South Carolina, though. 25% of the Black population is immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa. Latino population is largely Mexican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban, while Asian population is primarily Indian, Korean, or Filipino.
Economy: Thriving transportation and manufacturing industries (train, RV, and auto manufacturing hub). Future plans for wind turbine production. Also a major engineering center whose workforce makes up a large portion of the suburban residents. Large Army-Air Force joint base on the working class eastern side of town that is also home to several major retail distribution centers.

Other notable notes: A USNWR academic top 50 SEC school (that also has a huge football culture) is located in a college town-esque neighborhood between the downtown and a rural side of the county. The school houses a major medical research center and has top tier engineering, business, and Pre-Med programs (not as strong in the rest of STEM or liberal arts).

The wealthy side of town is along the river/lakes. Poor to working class eastern side of the county, white collar suburban north side and south central side, college on the southwestern side. Far south side is rural and is still predominantly characterized by family farms

Has several small neighborhoods with their own unique character near the downtown (which is along the riverfront).

Fittest city in the South according to studies

Has a couple small towns on the fringes of the county that are home to high school football powerhouses

Decent sized middle class African American community in the suburbs

Sorry I forgot to quote this in my own post. I honestly don't have a ton of knowledge about HI politics regarding how that would look. My guess would be Bush-Bush-Obama-Obama-Clinton-Biden, with 2000 and 2020 being very close

Median Household Income: $66,477
Racial Demographics: 64% White, 15% Latino, 12% Asian, 7% Black, 3% Mixed/Other
Demographic Notes: Originally settled by a mix of Dutch and German settlers from the Hudson Valley as well as some Scotch-Irish, making it long a Democratic stronghold though some Yankee settlement came later. Industrialization attracted a wave of Irish, Italian, Polish, Jewish etc. immigrants. Asian and Latino immigration in modern times. Nowadays Wessex County is notable for being one of the few counties in the US with both a large Ultra Orthodox Jewish community (who has set up a Kiryas Joel type settlement of some 25,000 inhabitants) and Amish population(who live in farming communities on the still western rural fringe). Koreans and Indians form the largest Asian community here. Overall Jews make up some 17% of the population. Catholicism is the leading Christian denomination.
Economy: County functions as a bedroom community/exurb for New York metro area, especially for people who work in counties like Bergen and Essex. However, numerous pharmaceutical labs and corporate parks can still be found in the area. It is also a huge retail center, with large malls and outlets dotting the interstates.
Other notes: The eastern half of county is a dense network of some 30 suburbs, a few of which used to be small towns and thus have downtown cores while others are postwar sprawl. The suburbs range from upper class (generally more in the less heavily populated west) to solid middle class to working-class (some of which have Latino pluralities nowadays). Some suburbs are ethnically mixed but others retain a distinctly homogenous cast most obvious with Jewish majority towns like Windhaven but some are also heavily Italian such as lower middle-class Grant and Korean plurality Westbrook. As a result the area is popular with foodies due to the numerous authentic delis, pizzerias, Korean restaurants etc. as well as Amish delicacies.

The western half of the county is still rural and marked by some protected state parks. Agriculture is still practiced here with numerous dairy farms and it is here that several Amish communities can be found. Some wealthy New Yorkers have begun building mansions here which has inevitably caused conflict.

Public school quality in the county is overall excellent and there are several magnet schools. Woodhaven High School's  football and cheerleading teams are considered some of the best in the state.

Fairly consistent Democratic stronghold which had a reputation for Copperheadism during the Civil War. In 1920 and 24 it was the only county in New Jersey to (albeit barely) vote for Cox and Davis. Beginning in the 1930s and 40s it developed a reputation as the most Democratic leaning county in the state. It's mix of Jews, Catholics, southern descended Scotts-Irish, heavy industry with strong unions and farmers who often benefited from agricultural subsidies made it an almost ideal county for the New Deal era Democratic Party.

In the 1950s an influx of Republican leaning suburbanites began to decrease the Democratic margins in the area. In 1956 Eisenhower became the first Republican to carry the county narrowly and in 1968 growing racial tension and the ancestral southern sympathies of some allowed George Wallace to win nearly 10-15% of the vote. Part of the reason the county has a relatively low black population to this day is that many black employees at the factories were unable to find housing due to widespread discrimination and often were forced to work the graveyard shift. In 1972 Nixon won the county by ten points.

These tensions calmed down eventually and the area actually had a better reputation when it came to welcoming immigrants. In the 80s the mix of suburbanites, Reagan Democrats and some of the newer immigrants caused it to tilt to the right at the presidential level and go for Reagan in 84 and Bush in 88. In 1992 it swung hard back to the Democrats however and Bush SR actually narrowly came in third behind Perot. It's gone Democratic in every election since with the exception of 2004 although both 2016 and 2020 were decided by a razor thin margin.

Name: Grand Isle County
State: Wisconsin
Region: Driftless Area
Population: 95,000
Median household income: $45,000
Racial demographics: 85% White, 6% Black, 5% Indigenous, 3% Asian, 1% Other. Almost negligible Latino population.
Ancestry notes: A good chunk of European Americans are Norwegian. The Indigenous population is pretty much all from an Algonquian-speaking tribe. Notable facts include a community of descendants of German Forty-Eighters and peculiarly one of descendants of Northern Italian Forty-Eighter-equivalents.
Geography notes: the county is based around a freshwater body roughly the size of Lake Winnebago. In the middle of it, lies an island called Grand Isle. The island is coterminous with Grand Isle City, 65,000 people, county seat. The rest of the county is rural and sparsely populated but also contains the Indian Reservation of the aforementioned tribe.
Other notes:
- Historically important railroad and fluvial centre
- Grand Isle City has a reputation for looking 'like a European city'
- The two bridges connecting the island to the outer lakeshore are called La Follette Bridge and Union Bridge

Historically democrat but narrowly went for gore and Kerry in 2000 and 2004, Obama won it by 25 points n 2008 and stil had a strong showing  in 2022 winning it by 15 points. Swung hard towards trump with him winning it by 5 points but returned to Biden in 2020 and he won it by 3 points thanks it's status as a tourist county .

Deep Blue (or red in Atlas colors) county which may have never voted for a Republican presidentially. The best performances for Republicans in recent years were in 2004 and 2020.

Name: Itascopolis (independent city)
State: Itasca (fictional state from my Sylvania series)--basically upper midwest
Region: Western Itasca (basically equivalent to Western or North-central Minnesota)
Population: 111,299
Geographic Type: Mostly urban, but the city has odd boundaries so it includes lots of suburban, exurban and rural areas.
Median household income: $56,000
Racial Demographics: 83% white, 5% Latino, 5% Native, 4% Black, 2% Asian, 2% Mixed (mostly mixed white and native)
Ancestry: Mostly German and Scandinavian. The largeish native community is mostly Ojibwe.
Other notes: Is the center of a small metro area, about the size of Fargo. Was founded to be the state capitol, so has very little history of industry. The local economy is based in the service industry and government. Itasca is a Delaware-style tax haven, so it has a lot of company headquarters, especially credit card companies.

Historically swingy, perhaps Republican-leaning, but Democratic since 1992, and only getting more so.

Name: Drummond County
State: Michigan
Region: Detroit Metro
Population: 1.6 million
Geographic type: Suburban, running the gamut from dense inner suburbs to exurbs
Median household income: $63,000
Racial demographics: 73% white, 16% black, 6% Asian, 3% Hispanic, 2% other
Ancestry: No dominant group. German, Irish, English, Polish and Italian are the largest, in that order.
Other notes: A very socioeconomically diverse county, with a mixture of upper-middle class, highly educated suburbs, largely ‘white ethnic’ working class and lower middle class neighbourhoods, deprived quasi-inner city areas and semi-rural exurbs on the fringes. Much of the county originally grew up as a result of white flight, but it is slowly diversifying, with a small but growing black middle class.

Much of the county originally grew up as a result of white flight, but it is slowly diversifying, with a small but growing black middle class.

Leaned Republican in the early days of suburbanization (though Democrats put up respectable performances thanks to large unionized working class presence) and remained a classic swing county for decades, critical to winning Michigan as a whole. Gore narrowly won it in 2000 only for Bush to edge out Kerry in 2004. Obama won it easily twice but Trump narrowed the margins considerably losing Drummond by less than a percentage point in 2016. In 2020, Biden improved on Clinton considerably and won the county by a respectable 4 percentage points. Trump and Sanders won it in the 2016 primaries, backed Biden in 2020.

Name: Lemon County
State: California
Region: Southern California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego
Population: 1,930,484
Geographic type: Inner/outer suburban with some features of small cities
Median Household Income: $67,000
Demographics: 55% White, 23% Hispanic, 15% Asian, 5% Black, 3% Mixed/Other
Ancestry: Settled in the late 18th Century by Spanish missionaries and soldiers. After annexation to the US, first wave of settlers tended to be Southerners (making the area have some secessionist sympathies during the Civil War) but in the "boom" of the 1880s this was swamped by Midwestern WASPs. Heavy immigration from further east especially states like Iowa, Illinois, Indiana etc. continued for decades earning the county the nickname "Heartland by the Sea". There was some Asian immigration, especially Japanese. During the Depression/World War II, there was a heavy migration of "Okies" and other Southern whites from states such as Arkansas or Tennessee but also an influx of "ethnic" Catholics and Jews from East Coast or Midwestern cities. There was also a considerable amount of Dutch immigrants who came in the decades after the war. After 1965, there was heavy Asian and Latino immigration especially of Koreans, Vietnamese, and Mexicans. Nowadays, the county has an incredibly diverse population. Overall, Protestants outnumber Catholics slightly and the area has numerously evangelical megachurches headed by pastors with nationwide fame. Baptists, Dutch Reformed (esp CRC), Presbyterian, Lutheran, and nondenominational adherents are all quite numerous.
Economy: Originally an agricultural area that focused on vegetable and fruit agriculture (especially citrus fruits such as lemon hence the county's name) as well as dairying. The discover of oil in the 1910s led to gradual industrialization and Lemon County attracted pioneer aviationists thanks to its year-round sunny climate. As a result, enormous aerospace factories opened in the area during World War II attracting vast numbers of laborers. Moreover, numerous naval and Air Force bases were established in Lemon County. Thanks to this, the area was a center of the "military industrial complex" during the Cold War with dozens of factories churning out fighters, bombers, and electronics as well as research labs developing new technologies. Other kinds of manufacturing, especially food processing were also prominent. Despite a moderately severe shock at the end of the Cold War, the presence of research universities helped the transition to a postindustrial economy. The area is the home to various corporations, especially the American branches of Japanese or Korean conglomertes. Agriculture still persists in the less urbanized fringes of the county and wineries have begun making an appearance. Retail is an enormous driver of the economy with over dozens of malls and innumerable strip malls covering the county including several regional shopping centers that have hundreds of stores.
Other notes: -Lemon County is unique in Southern California for retaining a large white working class population which otherwise has often been priced out to states such as Arizona or Nevada
-The county is heavily developed with various older small cities connected by postwar development. Overall Lemon County is quite dense and there is decent mass transit, including some lines of the old Pacific Electric railway still in use.
-The county's coastal areas are heavily white and middle-class but somewhat blue collar in the north such as Tarragona which still has numerous aerospace factories and oil derricks. Further south, coastal areas are far more exclusive such as extremely wealthy St. Andrews which is the home of millionaires. Inland, the county has working-class cities like McFadden (majority Latino and 75% nonwhite these days) and generic middle class outer suburbs like Oakwood in the northerly and western parts. Some cities such as Rosecrans and the county seat of Lemon have 19th Century downtowns and housing stock. Further south and in the hills are wealthier suburbs like San Arturo and San Nicolas. Santa Lucia in the south is a unique town built around the old Spanish mission, with a wealth of Spanish and Mexican architecture that still preserves a strong Old World atmosphere.
-The county has a broad range of public schools, including several magnet high schools. Cheerleading and football culture is very strong in cities such as Tarragona, even despite allegations of coverup of abuse that were exposed in recent years.

This reminds me of Tulare and Orange so my gut says it historically was the republicans republican county. Heavily idolizes Reagan. Has voted for republicans since the 1900s. However with the rapid change in coalitions and Democratic dominance in California in the 2010s it started to trend narrowly for the Democrats, while still extremely moderate in politics (by democrat standards) it's become much more competitive and in 2018 two seats flipped for the democrats (narrowly) giving them a 2/1 lead in the counties delegation to congress. One or both of them could have flipped in 2020, both would be narrow. Biden would be the first democrat to potentially win the state, but it'd be less then a percent.

Name: McQueen County
State: South Carolina
Region: PeeDee
Capital: Dunbarton
Population: 610,000
Geographic type: Predominantly around a decent size industrial center. Large and growing suburbs. Fairly dense.
Median household income: $52,000
Racial demographics: 51% white, 41% black, 4% Asian, 3% Hispanic, 1% other
Ancestry: Largely British, with a small, but sizeable and influential Lebanese/Egyptian community. One of the largest Jewish populations in the state, though still small.
Other notes:
- Largely on the poorer end of the spectrum compared to nationwide. Economically well off for the region across the board.
- Historically not much more than a market town and a tobacco processing place. Had lots of trade centered around the PeeDee river. Had textile mills aswell that dried up in the post-war period along with the tobacco factories leading to a reputation of being economically depressed and crime filled, experienced a lot of white flight in the 80s and 90s.
- Home to a growing and influential public university community in the north side of town, causing gentrification in the historically poor areas on the city. Most professors live in the suburb of Poconsin which has seen an ever growing Asian community.
- In the early 2010s and since the town of Dunbarton has had a series of reforminst mayors who cleaned up city hall's notorious corruption aswell as revitalizing the city and supporting small local businesses
- Has seen a growing hispanic population in the last twenty years which has displaced a lot of low income workers

I'm going to say something like Bush-Bush-Obama-Obama-Clinton-Biden--thinking Cumberland County nc as a comparison.

Name: Jefferson Davis County
State: Florida
Region: South Florida, between Miami-Dade and mainland Monroe.
Population: 33,387
Geographic Type: Mostly uninhabited wilderness, but the entire population lives in a suburban/exurban area.
Median Household Income: 40,000$
Demographics: 62% Latino (29% Cuban, 16% Central American, 13% Mexican, 1% Puerto Rican, 3% other Latino), 24% Black (10% Haitian, 9% ADOS, 5% Caribbean) 8% Anglo White, 5% Other
Demographic notes: Most Mexicans and about half of the Central American community are non-citizen agricultural workers, which is why there's an above average Mexican community for South Florida.
Economy: Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy. Many residents commute to Miami or its suburban neighbors for work, usually in the service industry. Everglades tourism is a big local industry.
Other notes:
-All of the population, barring five people, live in the CDP and county seat of Kiev Orchards, Florida (and four of those people just barely live outside of the CDP). Kiev Orchards is located in the extreme Southeast tip of the county and is the final extension of the Miami to Homestead suburban corridor.
-There are no beaches in the county.

Sounds like it would also be politically somewhere between Miami-Dade and Monroe: leaning slightly towards the Dems on the whole but swinging heavily towards the incumbent party. Probably last voted Republican for prez for Bush Sr, but 1992, 2004, and 2020 were close calls of about 2-5 points. Close to the statewide median (lean R) downballot.

Name: Jay County
State: Maryland
Location: Maryland Panhandle, between Allegany and Washington Counties
County Seat: Marshallsburg (pop. about 41,000)
Population: 58,035
Geography: Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians, heavily forested, population concentrated in Marshallsburg along the Potomac and a handful of very small (<2,000) unincorporated places in flatter areas
Median Household Income: $35,000
Demographics: 83% White, 14% Black, 1% Native, 2% other (7% Hispanic of any race)
History: Split from Allegany County in 1844. Marshallsburg was founded in 1838 as a work camp for workers on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, including a fair contingent of freedmen from the greater Chesapeake region, but retained its independence after work on the canal ceased. Owing to its degree of settlement from eastern Maryland and Virginia, its Black population, the transportation of Southern goods along the canal, and a small degree of German settlement from across the Mason-Dixon Line, it was unlike its neighbors roughly evenly split on secession: sectarian violence was common throughout the Civil War, and an infamous group of Confederate sympathizers crossed the Potomac to attempt to join the Army of Northern Virginia prior to the Maryland Campaign (a monument of them stood outside of the county courthouse until 2015). After the war, the county declined until coal was discovered in its western portion, revitalizing its workforce and connection on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; attempts at unionization by the miners were brutally crushed by mining bosses and local politicians. The coal seams largely ran dry in the mid-1950s, provoking a lengthy period of decline. A small private liberal arts college was founded in the northern part of the county, near the town of Paca, in 1973. Interest in the region's history and architecture, as well as the continued gentrification of Greater DC, promoted a movement to revitalize Marshallsburg in the mid-1990s, which prompted a small degree of economic and tourist interest. Mild growth has continued to the present day with the preservation of Marshallsburg's historic downtown and the establishment of Jay Ridge State Park.
Economy: Mineral extraction, education, tourism
