I know there are Dukakis '88/Dole '96 counties, but what about Mondale/Dole?

I looked at several states (basically every state where they both won counties), and yeah I’m not seeing any...not sure whether to be surprised or not.

You are correct! I looked at South Carolina, but didn’t catch it. I remember when I looked at NORTH Carolina, I kept thinking I saw some, but was always disappointed when I looked more closely.

It looks like there were only two: Edgefield, SC (as already mentioned), and Lincoln, TN.

Yep, and TN was another one I looked closely at...I guess I was just looking too much at the western and northern regions of the state.
