A fifth election is the most likely outcome by far, but the biggest question is if, in the mean time, there will be 61 votes to pass a law disqualifying anyone under indictment from being Prime Minister.

Ra'am has simply been trolling a desperate Netanyahu into breaking down the taboo on Arab participation in governance.

I'd be happy to see a military coup.

No, you don't. See Turkey.

Possibly the greatest political Houdini in history. What they're currently doing to Gaza would be better off being called "Operation Keep Bibi Out of Prison".

It's true that the person of Netanyahu has almost completely sucked the air out of Israeli politics, but why are people assuming that once he leaves the scene, things will turn more progressive, especially with respect to the Palestinians? If anything, the pro- vs anti-Netanyahu dividing line has actually been hindering a clear and only increasing right-wing sentiment amongst Israeli Jews being enacted on.

Ah, another January 6 moment possibly?

No, they want another May 10.

60 for
59 against
1 abstain
2 not here

That adds up to 122.

Corrected.

Ta'al and Odeh ended up voting against after they saw Al-Haroumi (Ra'am) abstained

Are you sure it's because of that and not because they saw that none of the Joint List needed to abstain in order to get rid of Netanyahu?
