The only Anne Frank memorial in the United States was vandalized Tuesday, a distressing display of hate that has prompted a police investigation, officials said.

"It's sad that this is becoming a statement of who and what our community is," said Dan Prinzig, director of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, which maintains the memorial in Boise, Idaho.

The memorial includes a life-sized bronze statue of Frank, which depicts her holding her diary and peering out the window of the secret annex in which she and her family spent 761 days hiding from Nazis before they were found and sent to concentration camps in 1944.

The Anne Frank statue at the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights was one of many emblazoned with a sticker showing the Nazi insignia earlier this week.

Stickers with swastikas and the words "We are everywhere" were found affixed to the diary, and another was pasted to a statue representing the “spiral of injustice."

Another sticker was pasted over a photo of Bill Wassmuth, the center's namesake. He was a Catholic priest who left the priesthood to focus on fighting white supremacists and the Aryan Nations, a neo-Nazi group that, at the time, was based in northern Idaho. Wassmuth died in 2002.

Even with education on the Holocaust and our pop-culture usually reflecting on the insanity and wrongness of that time, to many it seems like it flies out of their heads. In many social circles, appearing edgy and outlandish and being against the Judeo-whatever is “countercultural” and “taking the red pill” to these edgy teens. A significant amount of them indoctrinated like this don’t grow  out of it, as the institutions of Frats and Not!Frats *cough* ProudSoys *cough* where they continue to act like manchildren without responsibilities due to being insulated from consequences.

So what politically acceptable policy solutions can we implement to fix this Libs? Is it going to be data-oriented and free of ideological constraints?

Weren’t most of the swings in Suburbs and Jewish enclaves? I’m assuming those voters acknowledge that this happens, but its too far away for it to make an impact. There’s also the problem that open antisemiticism is pretty much mainstream and normalized, and to many both parties are guilty to varying degrees, so the real or not happenings are interrupted by stuff like peace deals and recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli capital is basically the relevant stuff.

This is the best I got in trying to get into the head of a normie btw. Oh, and also the stuff with Orthodox+ Jews being both comparatively religious and insular than the average American, a perfect match for the Republican Party.

I suppose the use of Swastikas made it inevitable that people would focus on that, but this wasn't purely anti-Semitism as the perpetrator(s) targeted the entire center, not just the Anne Frank memorial.
