Since such a survey has never been conducted in combination with an all-encompassing poll before, I thought it was about time to finally carry it out.

Here's to the WORST STATE survey.

PS: Does anybody notice what I did with Mississippi?

BTW: Wouldn't it be awesome if this survey was posted on a geography board? Roll Eyes

Texas definitely enhanced its reputation over the last decade.

Remember when the USA used to have another hate figure than Trump?
DER SPIEGEL, one of Europe's biggest and most influential news magazine, regularly made fun of Bush's heritage (which most European's don't know isn't his genuine heritage) and linked it to his hawkish war policy.

Bush at least seemed to pretend to be amused at one of the SPIEGEL covers:

Probably Maine but I like a lot of states (primarily certain cities within those states) but Maine is the one that I think is closest to my heart. Would love to visit Portland again.

I mean.....objectively?

California.

It’s the final, kitschy drag queen version of all of Western Civilization.

It's the edge of the world and all of Western civilization
The sun may rise in the East at least it's settled in a final location

The RHCP made so many songs about U.S. states and political demographics that I wonder if Anthony Kiedis might have a profile on here. 🤗
But anyways, when I read those above-mentioned posts, I rather thought of the following song: 🤪

Massachusetts, but it peaked in the 18th century.

MA has actually improved significantly over time. It started out as a place run by insane religious fanatics who literally executed people for holding different beliefs or "practicing witchcraft," among other backwards and heinous practices.
