America will most likely be in better shape in 2024 than in 2020 though. This year is so terrible that I struggle to see how people would want to go back to it. This might be a fundamental flaw in a Trump 2024 candidacy too.

I was joking around early in the year that Biden's campaign slogan should be "Take America Back!"

My friend said it sounds divisive and like a slogan that an angry republican would use. Particularly during the Obama years.

The greatest gift for Biden would be for Trump to announce a run on inauguration day...keep the D base energized and the coll ed whites focused for the midterms. Seriously, this would be like Hillary announcing a run in 2016 after her loss.

Reminding people of 2020 isn't a great electoral strategy, which is why I think Trump is going to be pretty dead if he runs in the 2024 General. He/s just too tied to an Era that's not going to be remembered very fondly.
