Will Elliot give up all the awards HE won in female categories? Seems pretty un-PC to let a WHITE MAN win awards that were meant for women.

I still love him. Nobody's perfect. The rest of the tweet is awesome.

I think it's forgivable to use "Latinx" in a specifically trans context, since the term is somewhat popular in that community. Although since he was specifically talking about women, it seems "Latina" would have sufficed.

And yeah, otherwise great statement. I love how he stuck it to the transphobes.

I imagine people who are "trendy" enough to be among Hollywood people use the word latinx even in reference to themselves. Not to mention the ultra odd non-binary/gender nonconforming/attack helicopter crowd.
