I don't know where the vast majority of you really stand on the issues (especially the *'s), but here's my guess. Weighing moral and "cultural"/idpol dimensions separately.

The Atlas Left:
Lourdes
gracile
PSOL
CraneHusband
KoopaDaQuick*
King T'Chenka
MB

The "Dem Establishment":
xingkerui
ProgressivePessimist
SevenEleven
JacksonHitchcock*
KaiserDave
Kuumo
FalterinArc
YE

Ambiguous middle (PQG would be next to Goldwater):
Western Democrat
L.D. Smith
Blairite
Forumlurker161
Beet
S019
Illiniwek
Lakigigar
Goldwater

Somewhere right-of-center (Dr. RI, Calthrina950, BG-NY would be here):
Tim Turner*
John Dule
Chips
VARepublican*
DTC

The Atlas Right:
Old School Republican
morgankingsley
West Midlander
LouisvilleThunder
ExtremeRepublican

Sorry, I copy + pasted the formatting from someone who posted several months ago. I’m tempted to do just “moral” and just “cultural”.

Moral (lib-auth) axis:
1. Lourdes, gracile, John Dule, MB, King T'chenka, KoopaDaQuick, xingkerui, ProgressivePessimist, PSOL.
2. CraneHusband, most of the D establishment, Blairite, Beet, Goldwater, Lakigigar.
3. Illiniwek, Tim Turner*, Chips, Western Democrat, VARepublican*, YE, L.D. Smith, Forumlurker161.
4. L.D. Smith, S019, DTC, OSR, morgankingsley, LouisvilleThunder, WestMidlander.
5. ExtremeRepublican.

Cultural ("idpol") axis:
1. Most of the Atlas Left + most of the D establishment + Blairite.
2. Kuumo, KaiserDave, FalterInArc, CraneHusband, YE, Goldwater, Beet.
3. Tim Turner*, Forumlurker161, S019, John Dule, L.D. Smith, Illiniwek, OSR, Western Democrat, VARepublican*.
4. Lakigigar, morgankingsley, Chips, DTC, ExtremeRepublican.
5. WestMidlander, LouisvilleThunder.

Curious where you would put olawakandi? (I thought of him because he has a dark green av like Lourdes) He seems quite elusive to pin down.

He’s somewhere to the left of Illiniwek, that’s for sure. I don’t think he’s ideological enough to be on the Atlas Left. He should be grouped with Ambiguous IMO, but clearly to the left of Western Democrat, L.D. Smith, and some of the “D establishment”.
