Ideoshapes was interesting but felt a little biased. For example on Global Warming it asked me if I supported carbon taxes for those not driving electric, which I don't, but didn't ask me if those with private jets should which I strongly support. My results seem reasonable enough.

Why social democratic brandings are above ML state variants is beyond me. There are a bunch of meme ideologies in this test that don’t even exist on the internet. Also this test matches others that don’t understand a thing about the anti-revisionist current of the late 50s and 1960s and also what exactly went down in Cambodia.

Dozen Values test:

Collective vs. Property - Collective 73%
Market Axis - Coordinated 65%
Power Axis - Anarchy 53%
Autonomy Axis - Lenient 65%
Identity Axis - Inclusivity 69%
Progress Axis - Progress 59%

Ideology list:
1. Keynesian Socialism 100%
2. Labourism 99%
3. Liberal Socialism 97%
4. Democratic Socialism 96%
5. 21st Century Socialism 95%
6. Cooperatism 94%
7. Gorbachevism 93% (wtf)
8. Social Corporatism 92% (wut)
9. Liberal Corporatism 91%
10. Social Georgism 91%
11. Marxism 90%
12. Social Democracy 89%

One strength of the values test is that the framing of questions largely questions aspirations rather than actually issue or policy positions. One weakness of this test is that, in practice, if I was made social planner, I would probably govern like New Labour and this test result implies that I'd govern as Salvador Allende.

I took this quiz back on February 3rd on version 2.0.1 but didn't post it and forgot that I had done it before. So the changes may be more representative of the changes across several versions of this quiz rather than any actual changes in personal ideology.

I retook the Political Matrix for the first time since 2013, and I got +8.13 economic and -6.09 social; this represents me becoming significantly more extreme economically but not really changing socially over the intervening nine years, since the old values were something like +4 economic and -6 social. (I don't remember the exact values, unfortunately, and while I could probably find them digging around on Internet Archive I don't really feel like it).

This checks out -- I was generally moving left during the period 2011-2015, reaching probably my most moderate positioning in the summer of 2015, but have generally been getting much more economically conservative since roughly late 2019. (And I wasn't really that moderate before either, actually).

I do not see how anyone can score like above +7 or -7 on Economic axis. Reality should prevent that but oh well.

and on last political  matrix I was something like +1 E, -4 S. But its outdated and BS anyway.

But it should show why I was never going to be in favor of covid restrictions.

Well, on the other end, I got -8.25, -5.49 on the Political Compass page myself.

https://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2?ec=-8.25&soc=-5.49

I don't think I've ever actually taken the quiz on the Political Compass website before. I've always just used the USElectionAtlas one.

Speaking of which, I took that again for the first time in just about four years to see what's changed too:

Economic Score: -5.55 (-1.03 from October 2018)
Social Score: -5.22. (-1.39)

Those scores are the farthest down and left of any of the other five times I've taken the test bar once on the Economic Axis where I had a score of -7.77.

Also, while attempting to find those tests, I found and took the Pew Research Center's Political Typology Quiz and got "Establishment Liberal."

All of these quizzes are very short (comparably) so I imagine the variation between attempts can cause wide swings with just one different answer to one question, but they all seem to do alright.
