Overall: 91% Republican

Role of Gov't: 93% R
Economy: 94% R
Values: 94% R
Foreign Policy: 80% R
Budget/Taxes: 92% R
Energy/Environment: 97% R
Civil Liberties: 93% R
Immigration: 73% R
Healthcare: 97% R
Education: 97% R

I see more ambiguity in a lot of issues related to immigration.  It's definitely the issue that I am most moderate on.

Overall: 79% R (-12%)

Role of Government: 90% R (-3%)
Economy and Jobs: 88% R (-6%)
Values: 86% R (-8%...I don't know why this one dropped or isn't 100% since I chose the socially conservative stance to the extreme on all moral questions.  Maybe something odd counts towards this?)
Foreign Policy: 75% R (-5%)
Budget & Taxes: 82% R (-10%)
Energy & Environment: 90% R (-7%)
Civil Liberties: 82% R (-11%)
Immigration: 82% D (-55%!!)
Healthcare: 85% R (-12%)
Education: 96% R (-1%)

So, maybe my frustration with the GOP isn't just Trump's stupidity, but maybe I have moderated a tiny bit (though my actual disposition to moral issues is probably significantly more conservative than back then).  The really huge swing is obviously on immigration- I think the only reason not to have open borders entirely is to keep people who are direct physical threats to our nation out.

It doesn't seem like my views have changed all that much from 2018 though.  Most of the change was between 2016-18:

Retook this today, and I just keep moving to the left on immigration:
Overall: 82% R (might be a bit understated in my opinion)
Role of Government: 95% R
Economy and Jobs: 91% R
Values: 88% R (don't know how this wasn't 100% based on my answers, unless some immigration or other ones double-count)
Defense/Foreign Policy: 74% R
Budget and Taxes: 87% R
Energy and Environment: 92% R
Civil Liberties: 87% R

Immigration: 83% D (I think this is overstated and probably should really be something like 60-70% D, but they didn't ask good questions to get at my opinion of the far left on the issue)
Healthcare: 91% R
Education: 100% R

The only quiz I particularly like is 8values (52 possible ideology results), where I'm labeled Libertarian Socialist, which seems about accurate.

Economic issues in detail:

Should the government subsidize farmers - Yes
Should the government raise minimum wage - No (i'm not in favour of a 15 dollar minimum wage anymore and I believe it's up to the states or even cities to decide, on local level i'm in favour of increasing the minimum wage, but the government on federal level shouldn't increase it, and that's something that changed)
Should the government raise taxes on the rich - Yes (obvious)
Should pension plans for federal, state, and local government workers be transitioned into privately managed accounts? - Yes
Should the government use economic stimulus to aid the country during times of recession? - Yes
Should the U.S. raise or lower the tax rate for corporations? - Increase for large multinational corporations but lower for small businesses
Should there be fewer or more restrictions on current welfare benefits? - More I believe too many people profit from the system now, i've changed from opinion
Should the government make cuts to public spending in order to reduce the national debt? Yes (changed my opinion as well)
Would you favor an increased sales tax in order to reduce property taxes? - No
Do you believe labor unions help or hurt the economy - Help
Should employers be required to pay men and women the same salary for the same job? - No (changed my opinion, i'm not a fan of "requiring)
Do you support the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)? - No
Should the government increase the tax rate on profits earned from the sale of stocks, bonds, and real estate? - Yes
Should welfare recipients be tested for drugs? - Yes
Should pension payments be increased for retired government workers? - No
Should businesses be required to provide paid leave for full-time employees during the birth of a child or sick family member? - No (not for a sick family member, but yes for birth of a child)
Should the government classify Bitcoin as a legal currency? - No
Should the Federal Reserve Bank be audited by Congress? - No
Should U.S. citizens be allowed to save or invest their money in offshore bank accounts? - No
Should the government require businesses to pay salaried employees, making up to $46k/year, time-and-a-half for overtime hours? No (again not a fan of "requiring")
Should an in-state sales tax apply to online purchases of in-state buyers from out-of-state sellers? - No (not sure though, might vote yes)
Should the current estate tax rate be decreased? - No (it should be increased)
Should the government prevent “mega mergers” of corporations that could potentially control a large percentage of market share within its industry? - No (you can't prevent it)
Should the U.S. increase tariffs on imported products from China? - Yes
Should the U.S. continue to participate in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)? - No
Should the President offer tax breaks to individual companies to keep jobs in the U.S.? - No
Do you support a universal basic income program? - No
Should the government add or increase tariffs on products imported into the country? - Yes
Should the IRS create a free electronic tax filing system? - No
Should the government break up Amazon, Facebook and Google? - No

This is far from being slightly towards capitalism, huh?

Quote from a different forum made on 2 sept 2018, so one year ago

Quote from: Lakigigar

got those two badges

Complotism : the biggest problems of our society are the work of a small group of people. It is then essential to find them, inform the people of their objective and neutralize them.
Veganism : Human beings must stop at all costs the consumption and exploitation of “sensible” being.

Positions can evolve

Pragmatism: politics objectively boil down to looking at where the problems are and trying to solve them according to the means available.

Your answers were:
The Government should not censor any opinion in any case.
The Church shall finance itself, and be in equal grounds with any other association.
Military service shall be voluntary in case an army exists, and if so, its nature should be limited to its most basic duties of defense.
Prositution should be banned or tightly controlled.
Drugs should be legal, decriminalizing its use and liberalizing its distribution.
Safety of all goes before the rights of one; The security forces should not see its role hindered because a criminal is covered by individual rights.
Any imposition or benefit based on criteria of sex, race or social group, violates the principle of equality before the law, and should not be imposed by the Government.
We must strongly limit the entry of new immigrants and/or expel those who do not integrate.
The Government shall protect and / or promote the culture and languge that characterizes its nation.
Laws should force a cleaner environment by imposing strict limitations of pollutants.
The Government should limit imports from some third world countries, as they use cheap labor.
The rich should pay more taxes to increase the benefits and services provided by the State.
Retirement plans should be guaranteed by the Government, with some kind of mixed model that can combine public and private plans.
The Government should be responsible for removing or reducing poverty and inequality in society.
Licenses, permits and professional associations are unnecessary obstacles. The exercise of any profession should be free for anyone qualified.
The labor unions, as representatives of workers, should have special status on laws regulating labor, but should not be funded by the Government.
The Government should manage public medical centers paid by contributions to a mandatory public health insurance.
The Central Bank has a key role regulating the economy, so it must be independent and supervise commercial banks.
Big stores are businesses like any other. They are entitled to compete freely in the market, with no restrictions on their opening hours or prices.
Labor laws should always maintain a special protection to workers, protecting them against abussive firing and precarious employment.

   30.    Joe Sestak (8%)
   31.    Tom Steyer (0%)
   32.    Sherrod Brown (announced not a candidate) (0%)
   33.    Hillary Clinton (announced not a candidate) (0%)
   34.    Chris Murphy (0%)

I think the last four haven't taken positions in the poll. It seems like a trash quiz

You are an anarcho-communist, aiming for a society without the state, based on small, decentralised groups living communally. (100%)

You are an ecologist or green. You believe that the single greatest challenge of our time is the threat to our natural environment, and you feel that radical action must be taken to protect it - whether in the enlightened self-interest of humanity (in the tradition of 'shallow ecologism') or, more radically, from the perspective of the ecosystem as a whole, without treating humans as the central species (deep ecologism). (100%)

You are a classical socialist, believing in equality of outcome as a principle. This might mean greater equality (e.g. Old Labour), or as close to absolute equality as possible. However, you will believe in an extensive public sector, covering not just public services (transport, healthcare etc.) but probably also the 'commanding heights' of industry (e.g. iron and steel). Your views on personal morality will be reasonably tolerant, in general, but there is considerable variation within this political group. (73%)

You are a social liberal. Like all liberals, you believe in individual freedom as a central objective - but you believe that lack of economic opportunity, education, healthcare etc. can be just as damaging to liberty as can an oppressive state. As a result, social liberals are generally the most outspoken defenders of human rights and civil liberties, and combine this with support for a mixed economy, with an enabling state providing public services to ensure that people's social rights as well as their civil liberties are upheld. (61%)

You are a market liberal. You adhere to the traditional liberal belief in freedom, and take this to mean negative rather than positive freedom - i.e. a slimmed-down state is the best guarantor of freedom. You will therefore support a laissez-faire economic policy, and you will be reasonably tolerant on the social front - though less emphatically so than social liberals. (59%)

You are a social democrat. Like other socialists, you believe in a more economically equal society - but you have jettisoned any belief in the idea of the planned economy. You believe in a mixed economy, where the state provides certain key services and where the productivity of the market is harnessed for the good of society as a whole. Many social democrats are hard to distinguish from social liberals, and they share a tolerant social outlook. (56%)

You are a libertarian conservative. You hold that the free market is the best way of organising economic activity, but you combine this with adherence to more traditional social values of authority and duty. (38%)

You are a Christian democrat - or, in the UK, a "One Nation conservative"; in other words, although you share the usual conservative belief in stability and duty, you believe that such duties include a responsibility on the part of the better-off to help those who are less fortunate. You will be socially conservative, but in favour of a mixed economy where the state does have a role in providing public services. Christian democracy arose after World War II, succeeding more doctrinaire Catholic parties dating from the 1870s. (35%)

You adhere to the Third Way. The Third Way is a fairly nebulous concept, but it rests on the idea of combining economic efficiency - i.e. a market economy with some intervention - with social responsibility. The focus is emphatically on the community as a whole, and not necessarily equality per se. Adherents of the Third Way range from moderate to conservative in their social views, and have recently been willing to take a "tough" line on a range of social issues. (31%)

You are a communist. You believe, at least in theory, in absolute equality of income - and you oppose the whole capitalist system per se. You want to abolish the market economy and replace it with one in which the workers (usually meaning the state) control the building blocks of the economy. Your views on personal morality will vary; traditional communists tended to be more authoritarian, while modern "eurocommunists" tend to take a liberal line. (31%)

You are a fascist. You combine a strong belief in the nation with authoritarian social values, and a willingness to impose your views upon others. You strongly oppose immigration, and are willing to take radical action to combat it. (17%)

You are an anarcho-capitalist. Anarcho-capitalists take the Jeffersonian belief that "that government is best which governs least", and extend it - "that government is best which governs not at all". The theory of anarcho-capitalism is that the market can replace the state as a regulator of individual behaviour (resulting in private courts, private policing etc.). (0%)

Swedish political party selector

Social Democrats (100%)
Moderaterna (Conservative) (97%)
Sverigedemokraterna (National Conservative) (97%)
Vnsterpartiet (Socialist) (87%)
Miljpartiet (Greens) (65%)
Liberalerna (Liberals) (20%)
Christian Democrats (18%)
Centerpartiet (Liberals) (0%)

http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/select.php?client=BEL

A new Flemish political party selector i just made

Vlaams Belang (nationalist) (100%)
PVDA (marxist) (76%)
Groen (green) (47%)
N-VA (conservative liberals) (30%)
s.pa (social democrat) (25%)
CD&V (christian democrat) (10%)
Open VLD (center-right liberals) (0%)

I'm not sure if the test is good, but you can try it out. For me it's the horseshoe theory in action, but it might because i have asked the wrong questions, and my anti-EU and anti-immigration positions.

Groen (green) (100%)
N-VA (conservative liberals) (88%)
Open VLD (center-right liberals) (75%)
s.pa (social democrat) (75%)
CD&V (christian democrat) (63%)
PVDA (marxist) (38%)
Vlaams Belang (nationalist) (0%)

Interesting, I wouldn't expect green to be highest, though admittedly I have no idea how similar the Flemish Green party is to the American one.

Possibly because there are too few economical questions in it. That could explain it, but aside of that still seems decent. As well as there's no true libertarian party here, and the two that have tried failed miserably because of populism/corruption and right-wing populism respectively.

Flemish political party selector

Link again for the ones interested.

I did it again, made two changes to questions, and added a new question about affirmative action.

Flemish elections:

Federal elections:

European elections:

Still quite a left-wing result in this poll. I needed to use the Wayback archive. Thank god for it.

Here i made a shift to the right, although the conservative liberals stay quite low and the socialist parties are on 3 and 4. I don't know what happened why i shifted so much.

And this is even a bigger mess. The former number 7 ended up on 1, while the former 1 ended up 2nd. Marxists only 6th. Greens overall didn't do that well. Voting N-VA was never an option as they ended up taking place in ECR which is more conservative with PiS as a big party inside the ECR.

I ended up voting three times PVDA by the way.

There were few questions i could've used in my own voting selector, because the questions need to be easy for foreigners, and those questions go quite in detail. But I suspect i haven't enough economically themed questions in my poll.

What is your ideology?

Your Result: Free-Spirited Liberal(83%)

You believe in liberal left-wing principles, but you view political correctness as a social straitjacket. Also, you are neither closed-minded to nor resentful of others opinions.
