The Dems lost a lot of good house members, from Horn to Cunningham to Finkenauer. There’s a lot more to list off, but which one’s loss hits you particularly hard? For me, it’s McAdams or Cunningham. McAdams lost to a ridiculous goof, huge downgrade.

McAdams losing is the worst downgrade since Santorum beat Wofford.

Finkenauer may be the worst loss.  She had the potential to be a real star for Democrats.

McAdams, simply because of who he'll be replaced with.

Too many to say, but IA-01 definitely hurts.

Finkenauer is the best lost member, McAdams has the worst replacement.

I hope she can find something to run for. If the stars align, she has an outside chance of being the next Kander.

Edit: I also want to say that I'm very disappointed in the people of MO-04 for throwing away a truly incredible candidate in Lindsey Simmons in favor of reelecting useless, obnoxious partisan hack Vicky Hartzler again.

McAdams and Cunningham suffered a double misfortune this year. First, they contracted coronavirus, and now they've both lost reelection.

Harley Rouda (CA-48). He was one of the best. I actually thought he was pretty safe.

Max Rose. I thought he was an up and comer. I also liked his sort of outer borough brashness.

Wesley Hunt and Genevieve Collns losing. They would have been fantastic. I hope they run for some of the new Texas House seats in 2022.

McAdams for sure. Not so much because he was one of my favorite House members or anything but because his replacement is now one of many incoming GOP psychos, and one of the few whose victory wasn't an inevitability. He'll be the party's new token black friend though.

Other than that I guess I am also a bit miffed about the two Florida districts and Finkenauer's loss since she seemed to have a future (well, as far as Democratic futures go in Iowa.). I liked Cunningham too. The rest I can take or leave when it comes to their representative (I still would rather keep their seats than not), and many of them I saw coming, so I'm not that beat up about them.

Finally though, the very minuscule amount of pickups that occurred to offset Republican gains should be noted. That was probably the biggest disappointment overall, especially with close losses like in CA-25 and TX-24, or massive under-performances from Biden like in NE-2.

I was pretty upset about GOJ losing again.

Debbie Mucarsel-Powell stung. McAdams has the worst replacement.

McAdams for the candidate lost; Peterson for the replacement.

Hard-call between Cox or Cisneros for the least terrible.

If Hart ends up with this loss in IA-2, that is probably up there now. Six votes!? Really!?
