Not very, but I guess he could lose just because turnout will be so down on both sides in a midterm which may favour the Democrats in his district. But I doubt it.

Unless his district somehow gets more blue, he is safe.

I think so too. It took a big "Blue Wave" in 2018 to defeat him so Cox winning was a bit of an annomaly. CA-21 is generally speaking a GOP-lean District. A Republican had this District for a Decade before Cox won in 2018.

He feels like he’ll be re-entrenched like Steve Chabot.

He'll be much better off in 2022 than in 2020.

Valadao will most likely be fine 2022, but his 2018 loss and his narrow win this year prove that he's hardly unbeatable and could go down the next time there's a heavily Democratic year nationally.

I’ll be #bold and say at least a bit vulnerable, even if he’s favored. Cox was not exactly a great candidate, and Valadao lost in 2018 despite very few believing he could lose. He also didn’t exactly win in a landslide in 2020. If 2022 is a great year for Republicans, then he’ll probably win, but if Democrats get a good candidate, he’ll certainly be in trouble in 2024.

My guess is he loses in 2024.

If Kamala Harris is the Democratic Presidential Nominee, yes I can see that happening!

Will depend on turnout, but this aura of invincibility he had pre-2018 has been shattered. Very likely he gets a competent opponent, maybe Salas
